Was surprised they had them. Our K-Mart usually is pretty dismal with regards to toys. But, it was nice to give them some of my money, rather than the usual Walmart/Target. Also found me another Jawa there, so a very good toy run. Only bad part is I bought two storm shadows, and my daughter took one...

Are figure heights a little off?
I know there was discussion about this with the Japanese figures. But last night, while working on the computer, I was looking at one of my DAK figures next to a GI Joe guy. I know most Joes are on the tiny side, but the DAK figure made the Joe look like a dwarf. So, I measured the DAK figure and he...

At first, I was really excited about these. But, with more reviews being done with pictures, I'm not so sure. The only one that I know I will pick up is the Storm Shadow v2. Otherwise, I'm just waiting to see them in person. Especially the 5 packs. In each of them, there is one figure I really want,...

I'm sad to hear that your dog has decided that your railway is a toilet! At least you don't have to worry about lingering odour if you're setting up dioramas outside after you clean up the mess. The benefit of 110 degree weather - the obstructions turn into rocks pretty quickly. But, they are very ...

Aristocraft and USA trains make US equipment that runs on G-scale track in 1:29 scale. Marklin and MTH makes 1:32 stuff that runs on G-scale track. Here's the link to the Marklin stuff

Re: xd
Nice railroad pics. :P It looks like you spent alot of time on it. I checked out all your other pics too. 8) I like the supply shed with the tin roof. Can you show us how you made the tin roof? StarWars vs. Patton is an interesting concept too. (town6) Kevin. The tin roof is made from coke can...

Pretty much every aerospace company is developing their own family of UAVs. As digger says, just suspend reality a little, and it will work fine. Or, keep digging, and I'm sure you'll come across someone's UAV that's that size. I'm figuring my boy is going to be getting a 12-inch PTE figure, sans UAV.

Which scale garden railway do you have? Aristo-craft is 1:29 scale, close enough for government work to 1:32. You could conceiveably use some of the finer scale track in 1:24 scale to use as narrow gauge in 1:18. The "scale" for it is 1:20.3. I use 1:20.3 for the trains, and then mix/match 1/18 and...

Trains and XD pics
Decided to take a few photos of my garden railroad. Its only about 2 months old, so there is alot of work to be done. The main section finally has all the track put down (including the three bridges), but most of the landscaping has suffered from the heat, the kids playing out there, and our new pup...

I've never done the wargaming, but just found instructions for an Operation Sandtrap. Its intended for little green army men, so I tweaked it a little to use for my 1/18 figures. I've tried it a few times and its pretty fun. If I ever get my outdoor railway cleaned up  , I hope to do some outs...
