I’ve known about the mold lines on my XD Spitfire canopies for years… They are present on the canopies of all the XD Spitfires I own (NKK, ZPA, DWK) and never bothered me. The XD Spitfire is still a great model after all these years

I’m very tempted to back this… I know it’s not 1/18 but it appears to be far superior to the “retooled” Skystriker from a few years back that is both faithful to the original while being something new. There’s also the nostalgia factor… I never did get the original 1983 Skystriker as I was too young...
