It seemed brittle enough to snap but I was wrong. Folkewulfe and I go wayyy back. He definitely has excellent po...

Astounding paint job! I tried painting a die cast Ferrari into British Racing Green but it didn't go out so well. Must have been the wax/clearcoat that I couldn't step over. Great job on making the weapons swapable!

Did a little research........ as aferg mentioned, these were in fact built by a modeler in Malaysia. They do however have scribed panel lines and are fairly well detailed. Certainly not up to HPH standards, but impressive nonetheless. Believe it or not, the guy photocopies 3 view drawings and blows...

I bought some of their items including what you've posted here some a few years back. Very good stuff and they seem to have covered a very untapped niche. You can paint the tool boxes/trays OD green and it'll fit right in on any Hanger type dio. Pretty bad ass.

Based on working with it in the past, I find that the effectiveness of CA / Superglue is very hit or miss - I use it as a last resort and don't rely it on heavily. I use pretty much the ones you've mentioned, Plastic Model Cement (Testors) but I my fave is Goop™ brand Plumbers adhesive or 3M Weather...

Re: Cheap 1:18?

I was browsing the B/S/T forum, and came across a link to a site, www.goodstufftogo.net and holy cow, 1:18 German F-104 cheap as hell. You pay less total with shipping than BadCat's price alone. There's just less selection. But the 1:32 stuff is cheap too, only like 16 bucks. Damn. When I get my ch...

I broke and Exacto blade off trying to pry the underwing screw-hole covers off and it nearly sliced my hand, I've kind of been weary about it, as I don't know how to get those screw hole covers off without mutilating myself, haha. I'd like to do it, and I can, it's just the possibility of really sc...
