Somewhere I heard that the best "on paper" is the Leopard 2 but its biggest drawback is how expensive it is. This seems to be a repeating error on german design since the Tigers were excellent tanks (by far the best at their time) but couldn´t cope, at the end, with the thousands of worst but cheape...

I can tell you though that they really change on the Tigers, being on some of them excellent metallic looking while in others the work ...

I can only tell you what I know from their web page. I know for sure that Altaya is just a publishing company, not the manufacturer, and the closest thing I´ve seen on the internet are the CDC armour/Matchbox tanks. All the ones that I have from Altaya have the same black base with white letters on ...

Maybe I can be of a little help. I live in Madrid, Spain and the collection was released last year. It is intended to be sold in newsstands, two tanks a month and each costs 9.95 euros (12.20 US$). There is the possibility of being a subscriber and then they send them the tanks straight to your home...

I see that what they call "Limited Edition" ranges from 500 (Otto Carius) to 2000 (Ardennes King Tigers)... Does anyone know what is the "Regular Edition"? I am guessing that about 10,000 but is just a guess, not even educated!
