Re: King and Country Focke Wulf Fw-190A Review & Photos
One of their better looking releases imo, thanks for the review and pics. I'm looking to get one example for my collection and thinking about the Rommel 108.

Yup, co-founder. If that's your seller then it's the real deal.EJS wrote:was there a scott allen back in the day? At 21st century toys.

Re: Yellow 23 109 on ebay.
This thread is strange... Agreed. Hopefully for the buyer the recent one is authentic, if it isn't that'd be a shame considering the price paid. If it were me, I'd be more confident had it came from Jim A. or one of his people using yet another covert ebay id. The time the seller claims to have own...

Re: Question about japanese wwii plane camoflouge colors
I was always under the impression it went down with the Soryu at Midway assuming he maintained that particular aircraft. Egusa got blown over the side and was badly injured. He was one of the main test pilots for the Ginga (Frances) though once he recuperated. He later died during the Marianas campa...

 Thanks for the incite. The power of assumption often boggles the mind. I think your sites may be a little high and to the right. Speaking of dignity, at least I didn't bash the guy for years then turn around and treat him like my long lost friend. I would much rather be considered sanctimonio...

Re: Question about japanese wwii plane camoflouge colors
The Skymax orange Val is a depiction of the plane flown by Lt.Cdr. Takashige Egusa who led the second Val attack wave at Pearl Harbor from the carrier Soryu. This was his personal scheme and there is some controversy as to if it was orange or red. Considering some Japanese texts refer to the plane a...

I would say Horton as well. The technology gained from it over the years ultimately coincided with the B-2 if you think about it. People would likely identify with it more over the 162.

To VMF: I could care less what you think. I didn't ask. I changed my listings wording so those other sellers wouldn't take any offense but I see you are the only one who did. If you have a problem with me keep it to yourself. I did not join this forum to go back and forth over minor crap and waste ...

Re: Yellow 23 109 on ebay.
You assume to much. I have never built anything I had to sell. I have a very comfortable life. I enjoy building, I dont enjoy the problem that my habit produces by cluttering my home and guest house with models. So when I finish one I put it up for auction, if it sells great, if not I store it. Not...

Well really they don't need to with their own biz plus online etailers carrying their goods as well. Your play on words makes it sound like you are the only one is what I'm getting at. Maybe if you added to the effect of "...on ebay" would clarify. Well that wouldn't really matter though: htt...

Hey meant to ask you, saw your current decal listings. What do you mean by "I'm the only known proprietor of custom 1/18 decals & have used them on all my celebrated custom planes."? I think Jackson and several others would beg to differ concerning the decals. Just curious. http://cgi.ebay.com/1-18-...

Re: Yellow 23 109 on ebay.
Good posts from both you guys, VMF214, and Jnewboy, and I can see both points of view. "Extreme" collectors are willing to pay pretty outrageous prices for something that is truly rare. And would not be too concerned about turning a profit on it. They are just happy to have it, especially consideri...

Actually 2 of the five are owned by the same person. Eh if someone buys something for the 'look at me' factor more power to them. Life is too short to get caught up in caring about that kinda crap. Ultimately, who cares and also ultimately it purveys tinges of envy bordering on jealousy on be...

Re: Yellow 23 109 on ebay.
Totally disagree. I didn't buy mine for bragging rights and I know the 2 other guys that own one and they didn't buy them for bragging rights either. In fact, I had mine for 4 years before I told anyone I had it because I simply didn't want bugged about it. I truly didn't give a "rats ass" who knew ...

Re: 2010/2011
Star Wars was definitely the pinnacle for 2010 although I didn't buy any of it. I quit collecting it a couple years ago and my youngest who was a rabid SW collector discovered airsoft & lost interest in SW, which btw, I wish he was still into SW coz airsoft is expensive! I truly hope All-Go makes it...

A functional guillotine complete with a fig with a removeable head would be pretty cool as morbid as it is.

Re: Yellow 23 109 on ebay.
Well I know a little about these paint masters as I own the one that got away from 21st back in 2002-03 timeframe via their fanclub. For those that don't know, back then they had an actual functional fanclub that members could order stuff from to include alleged "exclusives" ie the spinach 109 & a p...

Haven't been on the forum much lately but did find this to maybe be of some interest to some of you. If it's already been mentioned my apologies. http://www.zoukeimura.co.jp/en/products/sws_ketten.html The price is right at only 22 bucks plus now they have a US based office can order from so the shi...

Very cool of them to do that! The trop 109 however is now "1 of 4". I have the first one, the one that got out during the active club years & found it's way on ebay in april of 2005. The larger more clear pic on the sshq database is actually a pic of mine. The second was bought by John L. from 21st ...
