Ebay & German related toys

Beware as ebay is apparantly gunning for WW2 German related toys. If a listing has the words Nazi, SS, swastika, and the like and some busybody weenie see's it then it'll get reported and shut down. I know of a few sellers this has happened to and it just happened to me with some diecast planes! Iro...

Re: North Jersey - Rockland County N.Y.

VMF you are really lucky to have what you do. The 2 small Walmarts in my A.O. do not even carry the 1/18. Yeah but you figure I'm spittin' distance from WM HQ, we are saturated with WM stores! There is less than 6k population in my town and we're getting a supercenter!!!!! However, XD doesn't show ...

MO, OK, AR

Lots of Cobra's (snake scheme only), T-bolts out the wazoo, Stuka's both winter and green, red 3 190's, black chevron 190's, tons of winter Tigers, and of course the homerun CIA Huey's hehe.

Airbrushing is the best recommendation. Spraying glosscote straight from the can often results in "pools" that are quite difficult to remove. Due to the size of the model, brushing is out of the question. I'd practice on something with an airbrush first before attempting the Hornet.

Naa, unusual would be a T-bolt with captured German markings as shown in the Squadron book.

We're saturated with winter Tigers in my area, every store! Doesn't appear that any have moved, all pretty much in the same area attracting dust. Aircraft, however, in my area moves well (with the exception of the brilliant brainstorm CIA Huey that is). Hopefully with the Xmas season approaching the...

Exactly!

To put it in to perspective ... not making a Zero when you have a full line of WW2 aircraft already is like running a line of WW1 aircraft and not making a Fokker triplane or Sopwith Camel! Not too bloody hard to figure out!!! It's like Larry the CG says, "like wiping before you poop, don't make sen...

They will

eventually discover this site, most likely sooner than later. That's why us "whiners" need to keep up the nagging for new items, might get lucky and have them acutally listen to the folks that keep them going.

Whining?

Actually this thread was created in order to carry on the fight for a Zero from GP's board. Nobody is whining pal, hopefully 21st will eventually listen to their #1 customers and reasons for being...US!!!!...and put out this plane. I'm sure they'll find this site and pop in from time to time plus yo...

Repaints & Reissues

I too hope the first one doesn't get reissued, that just kills the collectibility aspect of it if they do.

Tropical 109 available for preorder at BC

Well so much for SBP's exclusive! BC states a confirmed ship date of 11/15. Best scheme of all in my opinion. :D
