Re: val

Greetings: If you would cover this with R/C aircraft covering like coverite, this will look much better and help to hide the rib look considerably. It will also be much more durable than the tissue covering. Corey That will actually enhance the ribs/spars. The materials you refer to of cours...

Yes and you did it yourself and it doesn't have custom gear. Labor is worth something as well, something no one seems to grasp. Re: What Sucks?

Tamiya Spray paints. I tried to use them when I repainted one of my Hornts to VFA-15 and the paints crackle. uckily I was able to remove the paint with VMP Naptha without damaging the plastic. Long live Model Masters Paints! Let me guess. You didn't use a primer coat. Or you used an Tamiya acrylic ...

Spray cans are generally either enamel or laquer. Tamiya sprays are a primarily laquer base and are outstanding. Laquer dries whereas enamel must "cure" (solvents contained in the enamel must outgas) first. Depending on how many coats you use this can take up to a week to cure properly. Laquer is go...

Good news on a kit, it will make customizing much more easier to be sure. I'm guessing the kit will run at least $150 but that's just my opinion.

21st Century did a contest several years ago with buying 4 of the FW-190 planes and sending in the UPC symbols to get the "Tender Terror" P-51. There were 3 or 5 lucky folks selected to receive an extra prize. A decorative section of wing/fuselage with bullet holes in it, very much like what you di...

The 9.99 is a flat rate, no matter what you buy, up to $50, regardless of size or price, gets shipped for 9.99. Over $50 it's free in the US. Doesn't sound like they're really "recouping" anything.

Only thing "euro exclusive" about this plane was when they released them over there in a special Corgi box. Also the 190D's, Corsairs, and Stuka's could be had over there in a Corgi box. They were a ton of money too.

THANKS! great info guys i really appreciate it! so was it a European release only? Nope, not based on the "stap me" art. Hard thing to find is the Corgi boxed versions that were released in Europe only. Also some have Bette on the pilot doors, some don't. I believe all the Euro releases do for sure...
