Re: 1/18 FW 190A - BACK OPEN
Finally they come out with the Shrike... will wait on the Yellow 17 version after it makes it to U.S retailers, will be easier to convert into a Richthofen Sqdrn. with the Eagle flash onto the cowling. Nice looking bird just don't like the cowling tulip paint and rudder scheme. The weathering on the...

Disagree with the list NB Forrest should be 1 with 30 hand to hand kills and 29 horses shot from underneath him he lead from the front not a rear echelon General as was Grant, McCarthur, Sherman, Eisenhower, Patton was the only one close to Forrest as was Jackson, Patton was named after his Grandfat...

Re: 1:18 AV-8B from Merit?
correct they did- but a missile from a jet IMO is not the same as close quarter dogfights using the skills of U.S./Allied pilots using .50 cal. guns against 20-30 mm cannons of the Pilots of the Luftwaffe, up close and personal, now Korean War and lil bit Nam era were dogfights but nothing on the sc...

I will buy any of these that were built except for the Tropical Spitfire. Would I love a Do-335 Hell YES! but is it insane in 1/18? maybe.... But if its not then why not throw in other similar size highly coveted aircraft like the Me-110 or B-25 or my all time favorite the He-219! The Do-335 may wi...

Re: 1:18 AV-8B from Merit?
Is this the final marking/paint scheme? If so I'll wait till a high-vis scheme comes out. Strange that Merit didn't post more pics here; the Internet will give them more exposure than the trade show. I agree I would prefer the darker Grey version in British markings...this one to plane Jane for my ...

Hay Spike Dude how bout the one we talked about the other day, the Push Pull Dornier- DO 335 Pfeil nicknamed the "Anteater", 4 rear stabilizers forming a cross and had explosive bolts on rear engine to eject the prop section if need be- you don't get any cooler than that for something different just...

Does anyone on this board think that a Sherman can would stand up to a Tiger in the field unless they have a shot from the rear? Other than that the Sherman is a can of sardines.... they would do better by releasing the Fw 190 first, they would make some money there, I would buy 2 of each livery they produced.... IMO
