Sniper, the two static versions of the Summer and Winter paint schemes are the only ones I know of.I have two complete Summer sets and both are the same paint scheme plus an extra 88 gun barrel.I got this because one set I bought came with a damaged barrel.I contacted K&C and Pearl stated that I was...

They will make more 88's, I mean Andy's made how many now, 5 or 6 different variants? Im not worried, besides, Berlin is coming out! So far, at least according to my records there has only been three varients of the 88 released to date.A Summer version with an add on set(WS20 & WS21 or WS24 with th...

Yikes!!

 Did you happen to notice the price on the 88??Holy crap!!The price has doubled and then some in less than a year.I guess get them while you can.I know alot of dealers are out of them.I still think if you do some leg work you will still find one at around a hundred bucks.

Retired Sets

I agree gk.The winter Kubelwagon should fetch a pretty penny.I searched for two years for the 88 and then found two summers and one winter version with Gary's help.I scooped them up and also found three of the summer add on sets. The new 88 is much better in detail but I think the older winter versio...

Hey,wait a minute

Sniper quote"Wittman's tiger is the perfect example, 4 figures and a tiger tank for 100 bucks."
I don't recall 4 fig's when I purchased my Wittman Tiger.Sniper did you get a bonus or something.Even with three half fig's this is a piece worth getting.

How elusive is the Nachtjager 109??

We hardly get any XD stuff this way and was wondering how hard it is to get a Nachtjager 109.We currently have one Kepford Corsair and one Galland 109 at the Walmart which floored me to say the least.I don't hear or see much chatter on the black 109 and was wondering if it is worth the purchase. Was ...

Man thats a great pic.Where is that from or is it a model that you completed?I agree with an AFK Tiger.I like that German flag drapped on the back for aircraft ID.I'm pretty much King tiger'd to death to.Lets see them Stug's,Nashorn's and Hummel's.

Grab them while you can

In regards to any K&C WWII items, especially the D-Day or Waffen SS sets, if you find anything with set numbers below 30 they are pretty much retired.I see some sets offered on e-bay recently that are labelled as retired and are actually not or are still available at dealers. The best thing, like sug...

The shipping price on that King is going to be high. The 88 was heavy and lifting my older Tiger and Panthers I can't imagine the weight of this mammoth. Thanks for the photo Mr Football.I was trying not to fall off the wagon but this teaser destroys my 12 step program for K&C addiction.

Across the pond

I forgot about that thing they call exchange rate.Sorry and meant no disrespect to Graycap or CannonFodder.I can't imagine paying that much difference in the UK.Would it not be cheaper to purchase it here in the US and have it shipped? After my first couple of K&C purchases on-line I dealt with a dea...

CDC Armor catalog

I'm a little confused. What year did CDC go belly up?The reason I'm asking is that if they put out a catalog with all those pieces in 1997 and then followed with a 1998 catalog it seems a little odd that they would have been listed and not already made. Over the years I have picked up approx half a d...

Good Intel

Thanks Graycap for the intel report from the UK.Dunkirk is a big surprise and a new Panther would be nice.I'm still waiting for a Hummel or Nashorn. That pre-order discount is nice to.Andy usually is anti- discount.Especially in retaliation to some of the US dealers that we have heard about that got ...

Not only K&C!!

In response to Sgt Stryker's post I would just like to say that it is true you can still get the odd K&C retired set for $85 or so on e-bay but I would say that it was either a mixed set or a set that does not come mint in the box or comes without the box.I have recently seen some of the Arnhem sets...

K&C retired sets

I'm pretty sure some dealers still have the Panzer II set.It is a great set but if you hunt around a little I'm pretty sure you can still find it for its original price. Now WS 32 SDKFZ 231 might be a little tougher to find.As you can see by e-bay prices the Arnhem stuff is through the roof.I thought...

K&C retired sets

Eazy just a word of advise. If your thinking of getting the 88 you better act now.Its being retired or might have already been.I have heard this from various sources and that it was only made in a limited run.You can see that the price on some dealers sites has already shown it with an increase.I wai...
