All I can say is try the method I use, practice on a piece of plastic first you can do one side in about 10min and it's easy to fake battle damage using this method.In my opion puttys are just a little to messy for my taste but thats just me.One thing you have to watch is just don't push to hard and...

It's a little nuts but the end result will be more than cool and I don't think 21st will do this.I used a dremel with cutting wheel to hack off front section I had to cut wood block out but saved for later project.I had to trim at angle for plate to sit right the angle is tight to tie down screws it...
