Thanks for the report! Can't wait to see pictures!
By the way... was that a 1/32 Lightning coming from 21st Century, or another 1/18?

It looks great. At this hour, though, I think a lot of people must be trying to access it as it is, at least on my end, moving very slowly. I have a high-speed connection, and it is still moving like mud. :(

New 1/48 P-40N Warhawk

I don't remember if this has been mentioned yet, but it is new to me. 21st Century 1/48 P-40N Warhawk. Found at WM in Troy, MI tonight. They had 6, now they have 5. I am quite pleased with this model, though the fit around the cockpit could be better.

What can we really expect?

We all have our wish-lists, but here on the eve of Toy Fair, I find myself wondering what we will actually see new in 1/32 this year. Who wants to make a prediction? We already know about the Aircobra and the Stuart from FOV. What else do we predict will actually arrive from FOV and 21st C? I think ...

I gotta chime in for a DC-3. Think of all the mileage they coulf get. That plane flew everywhere and for everyone, and practically forever... not only all the WWII applications ( American, British, Russian etc) but Korean war, Air-America/ CIA, plus all the different commercial airlines, and even sm...

The Stuart and the Lee are both listed in the Tank section now. I love the looks of the new 1/72 bombers. Those are going to be must haves I think.

I also have both the truck and Halftrack you mention, and am very pleased with both. Some of the nicest pieces 21st C has made I think. I acquired the truck in the kit form and was very pleased at how easily it went together. Regarding the issue of different scales within "1/32" you are right, and i...

Very good. More info. Great! The FOV Sherman is 3 1/4 inches wide, as is the 21st century Sherman and Priest. However, the new FOV Lee, and the previously released Grant are 2 3/4 inches wide. Should they not, if this info is correct, all be the same? Why would FOV make the Lee more narrow than thei...

Thanks! I have subsequently noted the presence of the weld lines and the absence of them in several pictures of the Priest. Your explanation makes a lot of sense. I also noted that the priest width in the model fairly matches the width of the 21 C Sherman, though not the FOV Lee. I had just wondered...

Am I the only one who would like to see some early machines? How about a PzKpfw 38? or a Panzer II? And how about some more Allied armor in 1/32? I would dearly love a Bren-Gun Carrier. Or a Cruiser tank ( anyone would do). I know there is the FOV Matilda, but how about a Crusader or Cromwell? I mea...

Question about tank chassis

So I am fooling around with my 1/32 Shermans and Grant's and the new FOV Lee, and I pull out the 21st Century Priest and cannot help but notice the width difference between the Lee/Grant and the Priest. Now I am not real bright, but it was my understanding that the Priest came from ( at least intiti...

Found the FOV 1/32 Lee today...finally. It is a nice piece, considering it as part of the "action" series. No weathering, or small details like those found on the Grant, such as the tow cable and hanging side canvas pieces. However, it surprised me that they did go to the trouble of altering not onl...

I prefer the FOV vehicles in my meager 1:72 armor collection as well I have to agree. I am currently looking at a Dragon M4A1 and comparing it to the detail on my FOV Sherman and, for my money, there is no comparison. FOV is every bit as good as Dragon ( perhaps better, IMHO) and, when purchased th...

Motorworks also had some of the early Forces of Valor 1/32 scale stuff in the Action series grade. A Sherman, a Halftrack and a Sturmgeschutz III, as I recall. Also some diecast planes and helicopters in various scales, though I don't know the manufacturer of those.

I think the "strange " nature of the photo may simply be due to the colorizing process. This would have originally been a black and white photo, wouldn't it?

Hanomag question

I am sure at least twelve of you fanatics out there will have an answer to this, so help me out. I am staring at two 21st Century 1/32 Hanomags. One is the original S2 camo version in the gray box. The other is part of the recent Iron Horses set. The former is described as "Sd KF2 259 Halftrack", wh...
