Perhaps... but they made a Sdk 222. Would a Bren Gun Carrier or a Greyhound be any more exotic? Personally, I hope they just say " Hey that looks cool, let's build it!" :D

Support vehicles

I was really pleased to see 21C step up with the Opel Blitz and the Maultier recently in 1/32. What I would really like now would be some allied support vehicles other than halftracks. Anybody else wish for this too? I would love a nice 1/32 Deuce and a Half. I would love a Bren Gun Carrier for my C...

Hey TK, answer a question, please, if you can.
Lately we are seeing a lot of 1/32 armor repaints appearing in plastic. Is Cold Steel dead and gone, or is this just a cost cutting measure with older models, and new models will be in metal again? What can you tell us on this score?

Well, now that I am home and have assembled the "Annamae", I have to say that, side by side, I much prefer my original "cold steel" Priest. Not only do I prefer the heft of the metal body, but also the overall appearance of the plastic job is... well... plastic. It may just be this kit version, but ...

Interesting addition to this discussion..... I just picked up the kit version of the Priest. This has been offered so far in two paint versions, the second version bearing the name "Anamae". The second version has been out in preassenbled form but this was the first time I saw the kit. They had both...

As far as the Tiger and Hellcat, be advised these are the same as the original plastic vehicles. They are not Coldsteel. ( but still nice IMO)

I mentioned this once before, but will again... it's always worth double checking prices at Target. A year ago, after Christmas, a Target near me had added clearance prices to most of the large FOV pieces. Something like the $15 price you mentioned. Well in their system product seems to automaticall...

Matchbox/Dinky 1/72 aircraft

A recent thread referring to Matchbox armor got me thinking again about their aircraft, I have quite a few, and like them a lot. Does anyone have, or know where I might find a comprensive list of all the different planes they made and the different variations?

Every so often I will find an Action grade piece at Target and find that inside is an enthusiast version of the item. I had this happen with several pieces of German armor... a Tiger I, a Hanomag and a Kanonenwagen.

If you have a Value City store near you you might want to have a look. They had quite a few of the Matchbox tanks at one time, going for about $8. Since product moves so slowly at those stores some may still have some of these.

I put pics of the front of the boxes on my website Kurt Found these in Michigan tonight. The tan truck comes with the top for the rear, while the gray h...

I saw this at a WM today as well. Judging by the different items landing around the country I would guess a container ship carrying 21st C stuff must have hit the west coast recently.

Actually, there is an earlier version which, though a weathered gray, is stll marked as DAK with appropriate emblems.

Nice pics!
Anyone know if either model has the edge in accuracy regarding the skirting over the treads displayed in the 21st C model but not on the FOV unit?

Wow! Do the figures come included with the Sherman and the Panzer? Also, the Sherman is pictured with a barrell rest for the 50 cal. Is that new? I don't recall that from previous models of the Sherman.

Just a follow up. I am comparing this model now to the 21st C version of the same vehicle. The FOV unit seems vastly superior to me. The detail is much better on the FOV unit, being metal rather than plastic. All the hatches work better, though the rear hatch over the engine is not functional, where...

I have some of these too and I am also quite pleased with them. Britains has been making these same poses for years, and just keeps adding slight color change variations from time to time. I have managed to accrue several different paint jobs now. Back in the day they used to also make a cool German...

FOV M5A1 Stuart is out

Found at a Target in Michigan today, so if you were looking forward to this one it's time to make that trip to Target.
It is in the Action grade so there is no weathering, but otherwise seems a nice piece, and exactly like the pic on website. Came with one figure and little else.
