Is it time for another collection thread?

As the title says "Is it time for another collection "show us your stuff" thread?".

Lots of new guys on the forum, so show us, new or old or ancient members.

Re: How do you display your collection?

Still, the best way for me is adjustable shelving available at any Home Depot/Lowes in shelf lengths and width. Adjustable for 1/6, 1/18 or smaller. I recently found two rolling carts with adjustable shelves that are great for really big stuff (not shown in pic) http://i1253.photobucket.com/albums/h...

Re: 1/16 King Tiger Force of Valor Ebay ( 0.99 $ Bid)

The seller responded to me. Maybe cons have a lot of time on their hands. "Yes they are stock pictures. The tank up For bid is the same tank. The tank is packed into The wooden transport crate that it came in. Thank you for your question." You can gamble on this, I'd love one but I'll skip this deal...

Re: 1/16 King Tiger Force of Valor Ebay ( 0.99 $ Bid)

I asked the seller if the pics are of the actual tank in the auction. If he never posts my question or answers me, that in itself is another nail in this auction's coffin. Up to $202 with 6 days left.

Gonna be serious money with no pics of what is for sale? Not for this ole bear.

Another too good to be true?

Seller has 0 feedback.

Seller does not want to use PayPal, so your money is at risk.

Interesting.

There are always exceptions.

Re: Willys Jeep question

As to the .30 pedestal mount, if you want to count rivets you can google to get actual dimensions but the height could vary because there was more than one type of pedestal and the different mg mounts siting on the pedestal holding the mg. A rule of thumb is to have the mg barrel clear the top of th...

Re: A new 1/18 Jeep? And how much should we care?

I'll pass. No markings, tool color is just the entire Jeep color, looks like the top is plastic, no mg. For over $70 with shipping I would expect a little more.

With three civilian colors, it looks like a generic Jeep. Calling it military just sells a few more.

Re: 1/18 searchlight

My 1/6 light is not very bright, looks nice in a dark room but like a weak flashlight but it wasn't really meant to find those pesky B-25's and B-17's. Next to my quad 20mm, it's set to find those P-51's and P-47's. 8) Back view: http://i1253.photobucket.com/albums/hh590/Threetoughtrucks/Oct2011009....

PT and gunboats are high on my favorites list. I prefer the late WW2 PTs where they mounted a 40mm gun on the rear deck and mortors mid deck and the 37mm Aircibra aircraft gun on the front deck. Just awesome. And, of course Brit Vosper gun boats, and of course German E-Boats, and.... and.... :mrgree...

Big stuff either on the floor, on shelves or on 2 kitchen carts with adjustable shelves and industrial style wheels for easy moving. Great currently for 3 1/6 tanks and a extra White Sco...
