Re: 1/6 forums so I can list some stuff for sale?
Just remember, 1/6 21C vehicles and figs have lost a lot of all their value. The M5, if complete and running will garner some interest but not the high prices you saved them for. DML Sherman's and German light tanks just put any 21C to shame. I've gotten down to 4 M5's and the only real value will g...

Re: 1/18 Vietnam M113 with 106mm recoilless rifle **BUILT**
Sorry for being no help to you this AM, but I got curious and checked and the "blisters" are extra flotation cells found on M113A1's. Pics of the flotation cells are found in David Doyle's "M113 APC in Action, In Action" - Squadron Signal, on pages 25 and 43. The pics are from two different division...

My point is that if she does appear in Tora Tora Part 2, nobody would even confuse Weaver with the mountains the Japanese planes fly between on the way to Pearl Harbor.

dragon: As a movie expert, I am surprised you missed a few of her movies. Like most actresses, Sigourney Weaver has done more than her share of nude scenes. Two of her nude scenes that come to mind took place in "Death and the Maiden" and "Half Moon Street". Both were not flashes but long scenes. Mo...

Re: 1/18 ALIENS armored personnel carrier
I've seen Weaver topless in another movie and she has nothing to be conceted about...... perky. If you are a fanatic about accuracy, there are 1/6 heads that can go right on the older bodies. One from Alien, one from Aliens and one with a buzz cut from Aliens 3. The are a very good likeness. ...

Re: 1/18 ALIENS armored personnel carrier
Given that $500 is a lot but with a WW production of 350 pieces, at least 3/4 of the sales will be to guys never even taking the APC out of the box, hoping to resell it at a big profit. Think about the 1/6 Aliens Power Loader with Ripley inside. That bad boy sold for $250 when it came out at a time ...

Re: My WC63 Maxon
If anybody is interested, of the over 150 gun trucks we used in VN, only one was shipped home. The rest are gone to the happy hunting ground for old trucks. The only one that came home with us was a 5 ton truck "Eve of Destruction". A terrific truck now at a military museum in Virginia. Not sure whe...

Re: My WC63 Maxon
In VN, we had over 150 gun trucks from Jeeps and M-37's, 2 1/2 ton and up to 5 ton trucks with every different gun configuration you can imagine. The 2 you pictured "Nancy" and "Bounty Hunter" were among those in 4 Air Defense Units equipped with Maxon quad .50's. Initially brought to VN as defense ...

Re: My WC63 Maxon
Very nice work for a "should have/could have been" type of a vehicle. During WW2, no quad mount was ever mounted on a WC-63. An experimental vehicle with a Maxon M33 (twin .50 cal mount) was tried without a rear body but that single truck didn't work and never left Aberdeen Proving Grounds. The pict...

New 1/18 manufacturer starting up
Be still thy heart. 21C is starting new operations. They are using the name 22C (Twenty Second Century Toys). They feel brick and mortar stores are history. All sales will be online with headquarters in HK and manufacturing to be in China..... where else. Customer service will be outside Los Angeles...

Re: Question About the Merit 1:16 Scale Tanks
Sorry but the T-34 is one piece for the commanders and drivers hatches. You cannot pry them open.
DML Sherman in 1/6 has most of the hatches spot clued down but they can be popped up to be open. Hinges are easily made, but no such luck in Merits 1/16 T-34.

Seems like something for all scales. Even 1/6 is represented with a nice Ruskie MG that can be used for WW2 and VN.

What a gip. First the seller mentions it is a "real" time machine and then he presses the switch and the time machine goes nowhere, just spins with lights and music. I feel like reporting the seller for misrepresenting the item. Wow.... I love it and with a price just a little lower, I'd snap...

Re: 1/6 Hobby Master Bud Anderson figure
Hobby Master has a good start but this fig has the same problem that other 1/6 manufacturers had WHEN THEY START. Head sculpt is great but the figure is ruined completely but the uniform stitching. Way too big thread and sewing and clown looking. Completely unrealistic for any fig costing over $100....

Re: Forces of Valor King Tiger 1/16
TMP had my Sherman for $199.99 and $22.93 shipping, total $222.92. A great dealer to deal with.
Box was huge. I've had 1/6 tanks shipped to me in smaller boxes.... almost.
War Toys is also a great etailer. They sold me almost of my big tanks. Quick, courteous dealer.

Re: Forces of Valor King Tiger 1/16
Informative video about the FOA Sherman. The amount of interior detail is awesome.
I ordered one of TMC's Shermie. EBay has a couple at the same TMC low price of $200 but TMC has shipping at half of what the eBayers are charging.
It will make a nice addition to my growing 1/16 collection.

Re: Forces of Valor King Tiger 1/16
Does the FOV 1/16 Sherman have the detailed interior? Can't imagine it does for the $200 price TMC has them for but pics through the commanders hatch shows something like an interior. Tman: There are a very few 1/6 tanks that are around $600 and the good ones are kits for that kind of price and thos...

Aren't we all changing our display constantly. Especially us 1/6ers. Every time I get a new "toy", something has to be moved around to display it.
