Yeah that is nagging me too.
Now that spots are not on my table, I can think about how to fix that.

This is results of today's test for me... This is 50% each of acry flat gull gray and light ghost gray with a little water mixed in and airbrushed over the elevator. I left the spots very subtle showing through and other shadings. As others have said, this is probably what they were after originally...

Experiments for today....... I bought both acryl MM Flat Gull Gray 4763 and Light Ghost Gray 4762. Flat Gull Gray 4763 was the better color match on my bird, really really close. 4762 was a little too much on the darker side of gray. Maybe mixing in a little 4762 into the 4763 would be a good idea t...

For the glove vanes I needed to put an exacto tip in to pry a little to get them to swing out.

My pilots stick was broken off and missing.
Also one of the fin antenna is no where to be found.
I may have broken it off but I doubt it. Easy enough to scratch build another.

EDIT
Found the antenna, Must have been barely glued on.

Under incandescent bulb lighting. It's an amazing jet! Even with spots this thing has P R E S E N C E ! But I will be masking the markings and airbrushing out the spots. There really isn't that much to have to mask off though. Just need to be precise along the edges. http://i261.photobucket.com/albu...

I saw one of the older Mustangs once that was clearly returned in place of one of the far more detailed new ones.

Someone upgraded at the expense of the next purchaser.

Just messed up that someone would do that.

A few things I dealt with... Terrible gap on the bottom fuselage, could not mate any closer because a connecting pin was resisiting this on the inside. I heated a screwdriver tip and melted it in half inside the fuselage. This enabled me to squeeze the fuselage together closer and super glue it. Sti...

I would like to see it. Sure it was not combat flown. But not every Delta Dagger pilot becomes President of the United States and had a father who flew military aircraft and was President himself too. That is pretty amazing, politics aside. I would like to see these products and would like to displa...

My father worked on Hellcats.
As a little kid, I remember it sounded funny hearing my father who rarely cussed use the "h" word.

Grabbing one of these is mandatory for me.
