According to my research, the 21C Spit's exhaust (indicative of the Mk II) appears to closely resemble the the Mk V's. Desert Spit, here I come!

Once I actually acquire one that is. Anybody got a Spit for sale? 8)

Okay. I'll play. Here are some teasers. As I've changed my display some, I'll take a couple of update photos of my current arrangement to post tomorrow. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y184/flpickupman/Small%20Scales/P1020471.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y184/flpickupman/Small%20Scales/P101...

Very neat. I'm thinking of acquiring a Spit for a North Africa repaint. This thread will definitely come in handy. 8)

1/18 decals; John's Stuff closed for the time being...

I just discovered that John's website is closed for the time being. Anyone know of another web retailer of 1/18 armor decals?

Hell, that's easy. You do it because you love it. Not for the recognition or the money. It's the same reason I spend my money and apply my meager skills towards the repaints and 1 or 2 true custom projects I've begun(and still a long way from finishing). I apprecitate the heck out of all the work th...

No worries. I've disassembled both of my RC Panzers several times, so I'm perhaps a little too familiar with the process. 8)

You have to disassemble the hull (unscrew the lower from the upper, 3 screws), then you have to unscrew the turret retaining ring from the turret.

21C Spitfire question.

My apologies if this has been addressed already.

Which Mk is the 21C Spit, and would it be approximate to a Mk V/C.a?

Thanks. :)

I already have the 1/32 Matilda. While quite nice, it doesn't completely satisfy.

That mostly depends on how much you're willing to spend for one. I think I got mine in a trade for 4 or 6 figures. Came out to somewhere between $20 and $30 all said and done. I'd say it was a fair price for what it was at the time(my first 1/18 plane). My focus has shifted in the meantime, so I per...

Just opened my 88(arrived today). No issues with barrel elevation or the seats deploying. All in one piece too. This has got to be the coolest piece of XD I have ever had the pleasure of owning.
