Thanks for the comments guys. :)

Unfortunately this only represents a small portion of my overall collection. The rest sits at my house. Mostly in storage bins. Makes me wish I'd settled on North Africa a lot sooner. I know my bank account wishes I had. 8)

Well, they're both ostensibly North Africa. If all goes as planned, I'll have to put up one more shelf for two 88s. In the mean time, I need to get my mits on the 2-color M16 and some FOV US troops.

I use 10lb test monofilament that I borrowed from my brother hung from cup hooks screwed into the drywall ceiling. The only thing I did differently with my Avenger was double the line. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y184/flpickupman/Small%20Scales/IMGP1265.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y184...

Edit: In retrospect, I think I'll wait for the Woofer to release his road wheel kit. In addition to being constructed with the 21C Tiger in mind, the kit should contain the correct number of wheels.

Observed in MTS's mail catalog

I noticed that a photo of the upcoming 1/18 88 Flak Gun had a decidedly desert paint job. Be nice if there were some corroboration on Area 21. This would save me soooooo much grief not having to repaint it. (crossing fingers) :o

I just requested a quote on the Italian Villa (should work for Tunisia). I'm interested to see what his prices are.

$45 for the Villa in 1/18. With my low volume needs, this strikes me as within reason. Nothing like personal laziness to increase the value of another's work. 8)

The only photos that I have seen are on the back of the current FOV 1/18 offerings' (Abrams, Bradley) box. It shows an Early Production Tiger with molded in Zimmerit. I'm guessing they'll run the same price as the Bradley and Abrams. $30 if I'm not mistaken. In addition, I'm not sure how compatible ...

Okey doke. Bondo it is. The one thing I'll give the Tamiya putty credit for is that adhesion is no problem. This stuff sticks to everything.

As for backing card, that's the first thing that gets installed. 8)

Normally I'd be in agreement with you, but with the 88 coming, and my North Africa Tiger having returned from the storage bin, my shelf space is limited. I'd much rather be able to exchange one for another (although that is quite unlikely, and I'll probably end up with both). I will admit to not bei...
