My 11yo who is a rabid SW collector passed on the Tatooine dome coz he didn't see anything in it to justify the price, and he's only 11!! It'll probably turn out to be one of those sleepers that in a couple years will bring a fortune.. It only will bring a fortune if you part with it. But yeah, I w...

P-51 "Flying Undertaker" $21.95 plus $8.50 shipping Couldn't turn it down  Nuts! :( I saw that last night, Monday or Tuesday I bought 4 PAK-40s and 1 North Korean MiG-15 ... so I wanted to wait til Friday before grabbing a Undertaker for my brother. Today the Undertaker jumped up to $35, so P...

I never got a 21c F-86 and only have Admiral's CL-13 (which I love and really, really still want the Hartmann or Temptation).

How does Admiral's F-86 compare to 21c's? (Please tell me that the CL-13 is perfect and I'm missing nothing.) ;)

The Chinese Mig is my favorite scheme also, I just can't believe these things are still sitting around!! Today was payday, so I picked up the North Korean MiG and 4 PAK-40s. There are still great deals on things that are actually worth having dupes! Sunday my brother and I were debating the Russian...

I too would have liked to see old Indy playsets like the well of souls and map room! :) I actually bought the two Peru temple pieces and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull mountain and like them all. On the subject of Death Stars, there was a English cardboard playset -- Palitoy (?) Death Star, that I...

Monkey has the Soviet version Mig-15 up. Best one in my opinion. If you don't have one, I highly recommend it. I'm fence sitting ... while $60 is fair, the fact that I can get 4 Chinese MiGs (which I love that paint job) for the same price makes it harder to swallow. (Do I need 4 more Chinese MiGs ...

Hanging 1/32 Aircraft

My brother and I would like to hang some 1/32 in my nephews' bedrooms. Though we'll be hanging the boys' planes in their rooms, we're thinking about rotating through aircraft. Does anybody have photos or a description of an easy system to safely hold a plane that you can swap out planes without havi...

This question came up before and I promised to dig out my old Military One figures. Back in the 80s BEST had them for $1 each and we used them as the "green shirts" for our GI Joes. They also had cheap helicopters and jeeps, which back in the day were actually of good quality (not Hasbro quality, bu...

Sadly I don't have a Kubelwagen. :( But I agree, being able to get somebody inside is important.

The M-16 is nice, but I can't figure how to get somebody seated in the gun turret.

I have mixed feelings about the IJ car. It isn't as nice as most other 1:18 military toys, but it does give me a bit of diversity.

A bonus is that it comes with oil drums and a barricade.

I'd pick it up.

OTOH, I recently bought the Soviet jungle cutter from the IJ line. I love it.

Q: 21c 88m Flak 36/37

I finally opened my Flak 36/37, but couldn't figure out how to elevate the cannon.

Does it move? Everything else was pretty easy to figure out -- and very cleverly designed.

Thanks ... this encouraged me to pop them on. The Avenger is such a great looking plane. :)

Huge though ... now everything else seems like a toy. I so want to set it up next to the F-18.

21c Avenger Stablizer Removal

Hello,

How easy is it to remove the 21c Avenger Stablizers? They don't seem to easily pop on, and I'm afraid that once I get them on, that I won't be able to quickly remove them to store the plane in the box again.

Thanks,
-M

This puts incredible pressure on BBI and Admiral. If this company manages to get the Tomcat out, it will be a huge seller. This leaves no excuses for Admiral and BBI, they will have to get the ball rolling on their own stuff or risk falling behind. I greatly respect Jason, but that company needs to...

The emergence of JSI has me hesitant to buy any more from the Monkey. Who knows what they'll come out with! I doubt that JSI reissues of old 21c items will retail for less than many of the prices MD is blowing stuff out with. But yeah, I understand. Will we see a $50 1:18 stuka from JSI? I hope so....

I agree. Airlines jack their prices, both based on their costs and the demand.

I don't mind prices and inventory changing so frequently. If the price is right, I'll grab something. If not, no harm.

I always use a small portion of olive oil applied in the stuck area with excellent results.
