JFYI, "Mr." Aiko Oishi may be surprised to learn that she is now a "mister". Aiko is a very typical name for Japanese women.

Big Clue Overlooked: Polycarbonate

All, On the photo from the HW Japan site, just below the "1000" units number, the two small lines of Japanese text indicate that the body is made of Polycarbonate--the same material as R/C car bodies.
