I miss the simple customization of the old figs that used the back screw and O-ring setup inside. Other than that, the new 25th anniversary figs are extremely well articulated and accessorized. But the price is more significant and there seems to be a heavy focus on army building collectors. Hence a...

Listed in an inaccurate category is my best guess. I would never look in the diecast section for that. The people who are looking for diecast don't want plastic... so it doesn't get high bids, and someone walks away with a great deal.

McFarlane doesn't do well with competition. They were good for a while but now NECA has come along with some sense, scooped up a lot of the hot licenses, and are cleaning up. McFarlane is content to not change much, not listen to fans, and put out figs of a contantly degrading level of quality. As f...

The Targets here in SW PA finally got the WW2 FOV figures in, but no sign of any Shermans. They removed all modern FOV figs, despite having a peg or two full before the switch over. They didn't even go on clearance prior to the change, which is what I was anticipating. The same store is restoc...

The local Target has never carried the newest line as far as I know, and I took more than a few trips just to check it out. Oh, they had a ton of Snake, Chopper Harris, Graham White and all the figs from that "series"... but none of the new ones I mentioned. I've been keeping my eye on eBay for mont...

Any online retailers for newest BBi 1:18 figs?

I'm looking for the newest line of BBi figs, including Robinson, Delgado, Hadley, Lucas and the SEAL para (Davies) & Delta night ops para (Lynch)? These are the figs that TRU was selling for about a buck a piece a while back and they haven't restocked yet. Of course I was absent from checking the bo...

I paid $20 and $15 respectively for my woodland/desert Hummers and I'm not too upset about it. They look fantastic loaded with troops and gear... especially the FOV modern army figures and accessories. I'd say yes. $5 is chicken scratch and the desert Hummer in particular has a good variety of confi...

If buying the Bradley will help in any way get that Stryker to my store, I'll go pick one up tomorrow!
Just what I needed to add more variety to my modern 1:18th - an amphibious APC with attitude! :D

Scalping is possible because there are way too many people with way too much money to throw into their hobby. First was the Bravo Team WWII batches, and now there's the $100 and rising BBi sharkmouth Apache. The Target clearance sticker is clearly showing, too. When sellers see this, you can expect ...

At least waiting 6 months to buy anything doesn't take up space. Just a lot of patience.

The sole Target nearby doesn't follow what seems to be the trend everywhere else. FOV figures aren't on sale, and the Bradleys are marked down to only $14.99. There is one of each desert and woodland left. I really wanted the desert scheme M1A1, but all they ever had on the shelf was one woodland ca...

When I first found the BBi stuff at Target, I grabbed the M1 and LAV right away, figuring this was going to be a short-lived inventory item. How wrong I was. After bemoaning the fact that there were no woodland camo Humvees at my Target, suddenly a few appeared. Of course I picked one up and was hap...

Will Target be carrying the new Elite Force figures? Since they started carrying them here, they have found an active market, myself included. They have restocked vehicles numerous times and figures 2 or 3 times... but is this the extent to which Target signed on with BBI? There are no TRU stores ne...

Thank you for the extremely helpful pics birddog! :D There is a small amount of 1/18 FOV at the Target nearby (SW PA). They have Bradleys (both schemes were on the shelf), the Abrams and an assortment of the figures. I have seen the FOV Bradley and I don't think it's selling well yet. However, the E...
