Re: Tamiya Fairey Swordfish
I just smile and shake my head at how you can crank out so many fantastic examples one right after another. You truly have a scale aircraft museum. I know guys that would spend the better part of a year on a kit like that to achieve even near your quality results. Thanks Axis. I consider this build...

Tamiya Fairey Swordfish
I started this build before World Cup Soccer and have just finished it. It's a very nice kit. I did not use Tamiya photo etch wire and just made my own. It looks very nice. As long as you're happy with the result that's all it's matter.

Has anyone built the 1/18 Hobby Boss Harrier II kit ?
Just wondering if anyone has built it ?
I've got the Merit Harrier II (Japanese version), and have just purchased the Hobby Boss kit to build this year.

Re: TBF-1C Avenger
I built the Accurate Minniatures TBF kit about 20 years ago, doing mine in a late-war solid dark sea blue scheme from an aircraft flying from the USS Intrepid. At the time, I hadn’t quite figured out the masking process for canopies (and I don’t even know if there were the aftermarket kits back the...

Thanks guys.
Axis,
I used the pre-cut masking set for all canopy and window glasses...there are just too many of them for manual masking which I normally do on other builds .

tman,
What did you use to pry off the canopy to avoid damage to it ? It looks like they glue my canopy down pretty good.

Was $2500, a steal at the marked down price of $1250... Am I missing something here? This looks liking something you could pick up at Kay-Bee Toys back in the day... https://www.ebay.com/itm/Metal-Model-Airplane-Aircraft-1-Military-Fighter-US-Vintage-AirForce-32-USAF-48/292475284339?_trkparms=aid%3...

Re: Revell 1/32 Huey
Great work! I bought a Revell Huey at Hobby Lobby a while back and it’s in the queue to get built eventually... Your work gives me some good ideas :D It's a decent kit for low price and the only game in town for this scale. I like the Dragon kit better but it's much more expensive and in 1/35. When...
