Re: Replacing batteries on JSI F-14???
This may have been posted already, but does anyone now how to replace the batteries on the F-14? If seems the battery compartment cover won't come off with the cockpit section attached to the main body. Has anyone done this already? I hate to bump a post this old, but I am now in the same boat. I h...

Re: Where Have All The Aircraft Mods Gone?
I'm just about finished with a JSI "SpotCat" re-paint, for a good friend of mine. Hopefully I'll have something worth posting early next week. VF-41 markings. Steve I’ll look forward to that. I can not post pics with my thread, something has changed since I last posted pics here ?? Any help is appr...

Re: JSI F-14D Tomcat conversion.
Some more "goodness" from Nathan Horchem (aka Pizzaguy), for my F-14D conversion. This project has been pushed to the back burner since I'm still waiting for cockpit parts, seats and, the dual chin pod before starting the lengthy re-build. Re: My 1/18 F14 pilots
Nice. According to his instructions the parts should be painted first then glued in place in the cockpit, otherwise they won't fit. That's why I sold the set I had. I used some blu-tack to hold the lower part and torso together and tried to get them in their seats but, they would not go. Apparently ...

Re: 1/18 resin pilot figures.
There is a company in Germany called 48specialmodels.com.
They sell aircrew for the F-14, F-104, F-18 and, the AV-8B.
I purchased the Tomcat aircrew years ago and they are very well done. I'm not very good at painting figures so, I sold them.
Hope this helps.

Re: bbi F18 Kittyhawk, and F16 8th fighter wing
Here's my thought on this and this is a VERY touchy subject on these aircraft. I've had many a battle with people over this subject. They are worth whatever anyone wants to pay for them. How bad do you want a Kitty Hawk F-18 ?? How bad do you want a Wolfpack F-16 ?? Another question is how much did ...

From what I see everything looks good. Like I said, at least your working on your projects unlike others who just "talk" about doing things.
Keep up the great work, the more you do the better you'll get.

Re: WTB:F-16 Enduring Freedom (NIB)
These jets are getting harder to find and very expensive when in new condition. Last week a F14 JR got sold for > $1000 after 16 bids. I don't believe it sold, the reserve was not met. He said if he didn't get what he wanted for it he would try again around Christmas time. Good luck with that. He a...

Another key piece for my F-14D conversion, since this one will be posed on her gear. Thanks to Nathan Horchem (Pizzaguy) for these beautiful metal mains. They are a work of art, thanks again my friend. Steve "TOMCATS FPREVER, BABY...!" https://i1303.photobucket.com/albums/ag160/FLIGHTLINEPHOTO/1_18t...

Another "upgrade" for my F-16, a AN/AAQ-33 Sniper XR pod, pylon and, hardback. Along with Nathan's AIM-120B's and LAU-129 rails my jet will look a lot better. Very well done Nathan, thanks again.
