http://i1303.photobucket.com/albums/ag160/FLIGHTLINEPHOTO/1_18th_F-14B_in_progress/IMG_3091_zps17decd0b.jpg Rough idea for the display cases. Still hashing out some ideas for different things. Since my VF-154 Cat has lights I would like to adapt that to the case. Somehow get the power source out of...

http://i1303.photobucket.com/albums/ag160/FLIGHTLINEPHOTO/1_18th_F-14B_in_progress/IMG_3088_zpsf5265113.jpg Since I am going to display my 2 F-14's, in flight when finished, I thought of doing something like shown here. This will support the Cat but, I want to have this all made out of acrylic. I p...

Re: 1.400$ 1/18 F 14 Custom Ebay
It did not sell because he never built anything IMO. Who the hell would pay $1400.00 for one of these builds, with NO PICS !!?? A little paint and markings does not make a B or D version.

Re: 1.400$ 1/18 F 14 Custom Ebay
According to his possible "finished versions" he is doing F-14A's, B's and D's ???? Sure would like to see his work for the D model cockpit and chin pod.

Re: What Might Have Been Or What Could Be....
If the finished product would look like the Gray A-10 that the guy is holding, PLUS WEAPONS, I would be in. I don't want to have to do any updating, modifications, etc. for that price. As a former A-10 weapons loader, with the 111th FW PA ANG for 17 1/2 years, I would love to have a 1/18 A-10 to add...

I think "layering" the plastic will give it better depth and make it look more realistic.

The paper templates look pretty good, hopefully once the plastic ones are cut out and applied the results will be as good.

Re: JSI Tomcat - Super Detailing???
http://i1303.photobucket.com/albums/ag160/FLIGHTLINEPHOTO/1_18th_F-14B_in_progress/IMG_3013.jpg Since the plastic is very thick on these, I deceided instead of filling the seams that I would sand down the horizontal stabs. One reason because I can get the edges thinner, like mcaulk suggested and tw...

Everyone knows what the JSI "spot cat" looks like so, I'll get right into it. One fuel tank down, one to go. Seams scraped, sanded, filled and, sanded again awaiting primer.

I would like to wish everyone and their families a Happy Thanksgiving. I would also ask that you keep those who are still in harms way in your thoughts.

Looking really good Mike. Started on my VF-84 conversion to a B model this week. Scraping seams, filling and sanding. Following your conversion closely, you've got alot of great ideas and talent.

Got mine from Bad Cat Toys, $9.99. They took a while to get in there but, they do look good once inside the cockpit. Now I can paint their helmets knowing that they will fit.

Re: JSI Black Knights vs. Spot Cat.
I have both versions and the Black Knights version is WAY better looking. It's a shame the VF-84 version did not have better QC checks before being shipped. The weapons are extremly well done, having loaded the real deals for the Air Force. I could not be happier with the BK version and would love t...

Received an email from BadCat Toys today telling me that my 2 F-18 pilots ( for my Tomcat) have shipped. Looking forward to seeing how they fit in the Cat.
