Thank you, appreciate it. I'm glad you liked it. When the sun comes back out here I will take some shots of the underside of the jet.

Re: 1/48th Monogram F-117A
Decals have to be applied to a glossy finish. This helps them conform to the surface better so you don't get any silvering in the decal. The final coat of flat seals everything in.

Re: 1/48th Monogram F-117A
I sprayed it with gloss black to save a step for decalling. This way once the decals were finished I only had to spray the flat coat.

The joints between the ramp sections were all scribed. I used a 1/48th scale rule to get the ramp se...

Recently took some pics of my finished models after all these years. This one was finished back in January of 1998. Thanks for looking and hope you enjoy them.

Re: JSI Tomcat - Super Detailing???
The pod was removed using a jewelers saw. Very thin, fine blade. How many lenses do you want ? I can punch them out but, it's up to you to get them to fit. You will have to do some sanding around the outside edges of the lens to get it to fit into the pod.

Re: JSI Tomcat - Super Detailing???
I removed the red lens by slowly working around the edges and prying upwards. Then I made the new clear lens out of scrap clear plastic that I had in my model "spares bin". I ordered a hole punch set from a model supplier years ago. The disk is 3/8" in diameter. Once I had the disk punched out of th...

Hard to get photos of this because it's small but, here is the chin pod with a new scratch built position light and lens for the TCS.
