Re: Hachette Extends to U.S. British And German Warbirds
Is there a US Distributor for Hachette? I bought a couple while in Japan, I really like my mottle schemed Zero and Green Cross Betty. I noticed while there they also did ships, trains, and other things too boxed like the aircraft are.

I have a Tomy Takara 1/48 pre-painted A6M5 Zero that is a cut away. I like it because you can see all the framing, equipment, and details under the skin that most people wouldn't think twice about.

Re: Wanted: 1/18 109 tail decals
I have a pair from a Fw-190 that's 1:18 which I thinks too big for the Bf-109. But I have the 1/32 21st Century Decal sheet with all the Non-PC decals, it looks like the 1/32 Fw-190A or D might look right on it though.

Re: Oxford Dauntless Virgin Islands Pilot Major Christian C
I've been wanting to get this version from HM, but usually priced high. I was stationed in St. Thomas, USVI from 2008-2011 and the current airport there was an old MCAS (Bourne Field). They were stationed there for Neutrality Patrols (early on) and Anti-Submarine patrols. They also had SB2U, R3D, JR...

Re: Rucksacks and Military Equipment Castings
I'm into WW2 and Vietnam. About 95% of my 1:18th figures are the Vietnam ones. I wish someone would make some Vietnam era M-16's, M-60's, and an RPD for my NVA/VC figures. I know you can get the M16A2, AK, and RPK. I think the poncho would be cool to have also.

Looking forward to the DO-17 and I'd like to have the Sunderland, but that looks like it's going to be $$$$, but I guess we'll see.

You can try to e-mail HobbyMaster. Give them the P/N of the aircraft and what parts you need.

Had a great transaction with CJG476. We had a little delay in mail , do to USPS. But he was very prompt in responding and thankfully the aircraft arrived today. Hope to do business again in the future, thanks again!

I wanted this one till i saw the price, even with a 10% disc it's still kinda high. I'm sure the Hawkeye will be over $100. I'm looking forward to the Hurricane though.

I thought the same thing, 1/144. Wouldn't mind having a 1/72 Hawkeye, it's different. Maybe they'll get enough complaints/constructive critism and redo the scheme.

Re: The need to have versus the ability to display
I switched to smaller scales. I just kept one of each 1:18 A/C that was my favorite. Although, I do have 3 1:18 Corsairs that I couldn't part with. But switching to a smaller scale solved my need of "every A/C version in 1:18 problem". I know it may be a pain to switch scales but being an apartment ...

The wife and i went to see it, caught the matinee, it's bad when the food cost more than the movie. But I loved it, the wife thought it was gory. I'm for sure going to buy it when it comes out.

Looking for input for casting my own parts
So, I got the Alumilite Super Casting kit from Hobby Lobby and was wanting to know any tips, hints, or tricks when casting parts. The first part I want to cast is the centerline fuel tank from the JSI Corsair so I can mount it on another custom corsair I'm working on. Looking for information like, i...

No, that's perfect. I have the Nichimo 1/200 Yamato and I'm getting ready to sell it and was looking for something smaller and done. I have several waterline series ships unbuilt, but I know the FOV are full hull and thats the only issue with them for me now that i've read your opinion. Decisions De...

Hello,
I was interested in the quality of the FOV 1:700 ships, I was looking at the Yamato, Missouri, and Arizona. I was curious to know if they worth the price? Thanks in advance.

Looks great. What colors did you use? When I tried to research the colors on Fleet Air Arm a/c's it became a pain trying to decide to use British or US shades.

Looking for 1/32 P-51D canopy from Ultimate Soldier
Hello,
Looking for a P-51D canopy, don't need the front glass. I'm redoing the RAF Sharkmouth version, but any color scheme will work. Thanks.
