TBF articulation and repair question.
I just recieved an Avenger I bought off ebay. When I unpacked it I discovered that one of the wings had broken at the small piece of plastic which surrounds the small metal pole where the wing moves. I'm not sure if anyone has any similar experience and can point me in the right direction for repair...

Re: Merit USS Hornet CV-8 Midway
I've got one of these pre-ordered as well. I'm glad to know what to expect. I just hope they get around to releasing them, date on badcat has been pushed back 3 times now.

Re: Repair/replacement 1:18 F-18 wingtip sidewinder
I have the missing missile, and I have a resin casting kit. Thanks much to everyone here this was a great first thread for me. I've been made to feel rather welcome. If I could figure out how to post images I most definitely would. My new project eventually replicating the missing bombs and mounting...

Re: May be we should launch another F/A 18C Hornet (From BBI
I love this idea but its about 3 months too late considering I just bought a Jolly Roger. I've been looking for a decent priced one for years finally find one with a couple small problems and now they're talking about doing new ones. Oh well, guess you can never have too many hornets.

Re: How I fix broken props (and most other parts)
This thread was a great find for me because I finally have been able to repair a P-47 and a Huey I bought a couple years ago. Just a couple small notes which may be useful for others. Some stores refer to a pin drill as a pin vise. I couldn't find one locally until I stumbled across the different te...

Re: Everybody in the pool!! collection pic time
Wow I'm sorta awe struck by these collections. I have 20 or so and every time I buy a new one my gf asks me "Don't you have enough already?" and then huffs. For a while I guess I could use these images to mitigate my situation, but I'll be jealous every time. It gives me something to aspire to I sup...

Wow I've really been missing out by not being a member of this form. Pickel you have a remarkable gift and are doing mind blowing things. I've seen the T-34 threads and now this piece. Re: Repair/replacement 1:18 F-18 wingtip sidewinder
That's a very nice piece. Like I said originally I have the sidewinder off my Tomcat that I'm willing to sacrifice but i just didn't know quite where/how to start. My friend recommended modeling something in clay, my gf said just tape it on. I'm not much of a sculptor and I'm not going to be cheap a...

Repair/replacement 1:18 F-18 wingtip sidewinder
I just recently joined this forum after visiting often over the course of last few years. I've been collecting for a while and recently purchased one of my holy grail pieces. An elite force jolly rogers f-18. It has some minor scratching etc which doesn't bother me overly much. But it is missing the...
