Re: 1/18 Pershing tank found (sort of)
I suppose you could try buying it. 1720 CZK = US 91.00 or so on the exchange rate today. I paid $83.00 Aus + Postage so its not that much different. And the way the shipping is stated it sounds like they would post it to North America. Still its strange there are not more for sale out there. I can i...

Re: 1/18 planes on Display at the Museum
When I saw how good the on fire 109 looked I went and did it to one of my 109s. I didn't have any insulation so I used some white aquarium water filter material which looks exactly the same as the building insulation and comes in small cheap bags. The problem with the insulation is that it is availa...

My vote is for the ME410 as I have always loved them. Jon is correct about the ME110 as there are many variations possible with it.

Re: 88 gun elevation, how do?
I'm just glad we have Jon and others on this forum that have the great ability and skill to do such customs as they are much superior in my opinion than the factory made ones. I for one dont have the skill or ability to achieve such impressive work, and I can only wish I did.

Re: 88 gun elevation, how do?
Jnewboy (Jon) did a great job on my 88 and I really love it. It arrived here in Australia in perfect condition. I still dont know why the manufacturer didn't make it in colours other than the Africa Korps one, as I am sure they would have sold a lot more if painted in Normandy colours.

Re: 1-16th Russian Tank Question
My recently purchased Pershing 1:19.9 width and length & 1:18 in height looks good next to my 1:18 Panther. Its unfortunate that the Alibaba line of tanks do not include any other tanks that are reasonably accurate models of the original except the Pershing. When it comes to US tanks I feel its alwa...

My Favourite 1:18 are my Jnewboy customs. They are fantastically done and are unique.
Of my factory items my NKK Spitfire is my favourite.

Re: 1/18 Pershing tank found (sort of)
If they are available here and the UK then surely they must eventually be for sale in North America?
Aferg what height would they be at 1/20 scale?
The thing is the model to me looks accurate even as Aferg says it must be a little misshapen. It looks as tall as the 1/18 Panther.

Height measurement 15.9 cm or 6.4 inches. Does that mean the tank is correct at 1/19.9 scale in regard to width v length v height?

Re: 1/18 Pershing tank found (sort of)
I received the Pershing today. Its looks much like it does in all the various images online at present, although mine seems not to have as sharp edges on the turret as the one online. I managed to shoehorn it into the dio with the my JSI Panther with a 21st green jeep and 2 small US jeep drivers whi...

The tank is in the mail they posted it today. If it is 180mm wide at 1/20 what should the width be at 1/18 and 1/19 respectively ?

Aferg I will get you images of it also - when I get a camera. As I said when I joined this forum I would like to get everyone images of my models especially Jon's sfuff which looks better in person than with his shots with the blue backgrounds.
