I like the idea.It is simple and i no modifications will be necessary to the Hanomag.I guess that the curved top helps to slide a grenade if thrown to the top.

Re: 1:18 Kettenkrad Poll

I have been doing some research on 1/16 kits of tanks, vehicles, turrets etc.,and after looking at there prices i am pretty happy with the actual prices for the 1/18 kits. Maybe the answer to keep the prices down will be building a Kettenkrad kit that will require the use of the indiana jones german m...

Re: opinion of Bravo Team M16?

I bought one just to see how it looks and it was exactly the same m16 like 21st century bot with no cargo bags accessories. The paint job is like FOV 1/18 Shermans(no weather or mud). however FOV tiger tank and Sherman tank were different than 21st century tanks, worth buying just to have a variant. I...

Re: German tank crew WIP

While most tank commanders designates which targets the gunner will shoot,Wittmann trusted Bobbys skills so much that he would allow Bobby to choose the targets.Bobby's sharp eye sight and quick reflexes made him a true master behind the 88mmgun.While Michel Wittmann's crew change from time to time,...

Re: You decide 1:18 AH-1W SuperCobra paintjob.

I voted for Dragonfly color. But you are right, the cobra is worth too much to use it on a custom project.Have you consider painting the "true heros" apache.I know is not a cobra, like wild bill fly on the 80's GI Joe cartoon, but maybe it is time to update wild bill's ride.Besides it is cheaper and if ...

Re: Hetzer!

I think it is made out of resin. If that is the case, that explain the price.resin is expensive and the parts will have to be hand made.It includes decals and photo-etched parts. Many 1/16 tanks also don't include optional early and late option parts. I think because the Hetzer was not a very large tan...

Re: 1/18 Scale Custom Sdkfz 251 Stuka Aiming Sights Needed

Mathew, which Hanomag will be best to use for the panzer short barrel kit? The regular one,or the one with the pak 40? I am asking because the pak 40 Hanomag has a small bench seat and some sort of a cabinet with opening door for storing projectiles, while the regular Hanomag does not have much floor ...

I am not a Shermie fan but i like this version of the Sherman. The two big hatches on the turret(one in front of the other),the tool boxes and all that piping makes it look so different in a weird way,and i like weird tanks.I can imagine having this tank towing a destroyed Sherman. This is one cool lo...

The frame with wipers and glass ?
The frame and glass are one single piece made of clear plastic. The frame is painted in gray.I guess that the only way to make it is in two separate pieces.
