I wouldn't sweat it. As Ram04's excellent photos show, it's not a huge difference. Just keep identical vehicles on different shelves, keep the 1/35 hobbits far away from the 1/32 men of Gondor, and if you have to mix scales in a display, keep the 1/35 to the rear for perspective.
