I didn't apply the white wash. I bought this model from a member on this forum: uksubs. But as far as I know he let somebody else repaint it.
But yes, I love the winter models...

Re: My first FoV
I am absolutely amazed by the level of detail these models have on them. Above my expectations. Only thing that's bothering me is that the turrets on the KT and PIV can only turn for say 10 degrees.
I'll try and put some more pictures up of the Jagdpanther.

Yah but I'm in the Netherlands so it stays in europe. And because we both in europe customs wont bother with it so no additional taxes.snake wrote:Beware of anything more than 2kg coming out of the UK. Shipping something more than 2kg gets ridiculously expensive. At least to North America.

White washed as in a winter camo? That'd be pretty awesome

FoV Jagdpanther
Browsing Ebay this morning and I ran into a sale of a Jagdpanther. Browsing the FoV modelnumber I noticed that this version is retired. It's the FORCES OF VALOR 80212 GERMAN JAGDPANTHR, 559 th Panzerjager Abt. , BELGIUM 1944 edition. There is also a newer release, the 80312, which is a '44 Germany e...

There's 1 more thing I'd like to know. The 1:32 / 1:35 models, about how heavy are they?

Re: Brand and international webshop advice
Amazing collection you have there. Those details on the Stuart are stunning! I have to agree, the models from K&C and Figarti are a bit too expensive for starting out. Next weekend I'm going to a modelling convention in my area, plenty of shops there and hopefully I'll run into some sellers of Drago...

Re: Brand and international webshop advice
There are a number of other armor lines that are worth mentioning, especially if one is into less conventional stuff. For example Figarti has put out an excellent 1:30th scale Stuart as well as German Tigers, PZ IV tanks, Shermans, Churchills, etc. These tend to be rather expensive compared to the ...

Re: Brand and international webshop advice
Hello Jerogen and welcome. I'm going for armored vehichles :) Welcome Kaap, I have the same experience. I used to build military models when I was kid. Now, as a father of three children, I just do not have time nor the motivation to build models anymore. I started with collecting 1/32-1/35 diecast...

Brand and international webshop advice
Hello, A little short intro, I'm Jeroen, 31, from The Netherlands. Back in my teenyears I used to build kits and than airbrush them using historic reference material. I had a complete 1:72 pacific theater fighter/fighter bomber collection, every 4 engine bomber of WW2 as far as I know, and a 1:72 B5...
