I was going to order one today but missed out. Someone in the MD thread claimed he bought the remaining stock to sell on eBay. I hope he is kidding because thats screwing fellow collectors. Scalpers are slimey pieces of **** not matter how they justify it. I'm sure someone scooped them up intent on ...

Articulation is quite possible on 54mm figures. Check this out: http://www.conteco.com/Spartandetails.htm I just ordered 4 sets. Before 1/18 planes I was busy with Gi Joe, Star Wars and 1/72 figures, armor and planes, so I have enough to keep me busy. BBI is still making stuff and the quality is muc...

You can get this at Michigan Toy Soldier for $50. If you sign up for the newsletter you can take another 10 percent off anytime you make a purchase, not just labor day. That brings the price down to $45 and shipping is only 8 bucks. I've purchased from Badcat before because they tend to have a good ...

Hasbro figures are better engineered than 20CT and FOV
20ct makes great aircraft and FOV makes great 1/72 armor, but compared to Hasbro the articulation and face sculpting of their 1/18 figures suck. Except for the Platoon figures, I won't buy anymore 20ct soldiers and I lost interest in FOV 1/18. Sorry to the die hard fans, but 20ct and FOV figures don...

I've placed several orders with them, mainly for 1/72 figures but I also bought two 1/18 hellcats. I got great deals on the hellcats because I pre-ordered and got a 20% discount. The planes got here safe and sound. There's a 20% discount going on right now for everything in stock. Overall they have ...

I saw Seeman and TRU today and decided to read the forum before purchasing. I'll be heading back there in a few minutes to pick it up. $40 isn't a bad price and no shipping to worry about. TRU also had the Corsair Bunker Hill version. Planes have been turning over rather quickly at TRU because the M...

My FOV figures stood well on their stands for about two days before falling over. This can be easily fixed by using clear star wars figure stands, which can be purchased at Entertainment Earth. The stands come with two pegs and the FOV figures fit very well on them. The posing is better and the figu...

I finally stumbled upon these tonight. and I love them. Pictures on the net don't do them justice. The paint apps and details are great and the accessories are too. These would be perfectly fan-freaken-tastic if only the legs were spread a little further apart and if they had ankle articulation. If ...

Well, I guess I opened the proverbial can o' worms. A few things: I love my wife and we get along great. Toys are the biggest issue so I can't complain too much. I agree wtih what Corey said. Unsolicited advice: Buy something for your wife once in a while, and I don't mean holiday's and birthdays. I...

My wife and my toys
It's no surprise to my wife that I like toys. I play with my son and his Lightning McQueen cars and Thomas trains and tracks until he's ready to move on. Even then, I sometimes stay in his room and put the track together in all kinds of cool configurations for him. He likes it and so do I. But I dig...

dragon53, putting the wings together was a stressful endeavor. I haven't taken the catmouth out of the box yet because I'm not sure where I'm going to put it yet. The hellcat is a very delicate model to assemble and the wings were problematic. My advice to any interested in the hellcat is to buy it,...

Razor and JoeJefferson, thanks for posting pics. Can't wait to snag these along with the tiger. Maybe I'm just spoiled by my Star Wars Clone Troopers, but why in the world don't mfgs include ankle articulation? So many realistic poses can be achieved by doing this and it drives me nuts that it hasn'...
