Your out of line Sarge. Don't try to piss on the one manufacturer that has always been upfront and forthcoming with information about his business. As for me and others, I'm sure, we are waiting patiently for any new releases that may come in the future. Your opinion is noted about the industry, bu...

Re: Admiral's new F-86 Sabre

Yawn   Ho-Hum   Unfortunately, this is the attitude that will put every 1:18 manufacturer out of business, or encourage the ones that produce 1:18 to move on to other things. I understand your disinterest; however, the retailers and wholesalers gauge their interest in a mode...

Re: Admiral's new F-86 Sabre

I got this from Jason's February post on another message board...my apologies if it's a repeat: I never thought I would have to say NSFW (Not Safe For Work) on a thread pertaining to a model aircraft. But this is one of those days. Furthermore, I am sure nudity would be strictly forbidden in any ot...

Japanese Shinden

I don't know if you all would be interested but Hasagawa makes this plane in 1/48th scale and it is available through Squadron.com. I built mine years ago as I thought it was pretty neat. There's some good photo's of the finished model in Google.

Dauntless

Jason Don't mean to run an old horse into the ground but what's the story on the Dauntless? All MTS is saying as of 2/14/08 is they're waiting on the pics of the prototype and that's all. I've been on the pre-order list since it first came out and don't mind waiting but a few new updates woul...

new 1/18 aircraft

It could be Admirals 1/18 Dauntless. Haven't heard a word from Admiral or MTS, who is supposed to have the exclusive on this particular version.
MTS don't bother to answer their emails about the plane anymore, guess they figure when it comes it comes.

My collection is dirt compared to these mini-museums... Give it time, mines 30+years old and when I started the selections were a hell of alot bigger. Now they're down to a handful even though the quality has improved. Just don't give up. Have a good one. Sarge I think most of us started wit...

21C & WM

As of today haven't seen the first 21C new item in ANY WM in this area. Still a few old,32 scale extreme wings but nothing new. At least with the price of gas now days I won't be wasting any running all over to try and find something. Guess WM parted company with 21C or 21C can't fill the orders any...

21C lack of customer service

I heard about Arlene and how good she was in taking care of the customers. They probably got rid of her on account of that. What they call "customer service" now is probably some dusty dirty closet where all of our requests go. It's been over a year and I'm still waiting for my Avenger screw plugs. ...

While your at it put a motor in it. I did on mine. Plenty of room to work in and you don't have to tear anything apart. Motor and battery fit right behind the engine and the on/off switch is under the left wing next to the fuselage. To change batteries drop the tank.open the door and the battery she...

Wish 21C would've made a different package to present this plane in show casing them and their accomplishments like they did with the Pearl Harbor and BBD planes. Funny, not one mention anywhere of these heroes just a red tailed P-51 in a box.

I think the only spare screw covers for the F-86 might be just the ones that come in the bag after final assembly. I don't think the US office has the rest of th covers that go into the body or the underside. Those have to come from China and being that the Huff has been finished for a while now I ...

i think that 21c's reason for announcing the b-25 was two fold. They took a lot of flak for announcing their F-4 right after Admiral, so they were throwing the fans a bone of something exciting to distract them a bit. And secondly, they may have felt that AT may be going to do a B-25 at some point,...

Honeymoon over

When the lone TRU in this area started stocking 21C again 3 mo.ago they only had a few extreme wings and some tanks. Today they have even less, some 144th planes and a few old weapon sets. The rest of their shelf space or what used to be their space has been taken over by BBI,FOV and GI ...

I know you all are working hard on getting the Dauntless out to the public, and I know it willl be one hell of a plane. Can you shed some light on the planes progress so far? Are we talking Xmas or later. I know the wait will be worth it. Thank you. Sarge

21C website

TKO
Just curious, whats going on with 21Cs website? Nothing new has been posted in the last month. All that time and money to make a new website and it's not being used,no contests for along time nor anything else. It's like everyone at 21C is on vacation. Sarge

Re: Wing Fold Gap

I cured mine by folding the wing, then pushing in with my finger directly on the hinge pin. Mine snapped straight into place easily. However...I have tried like crazy short of breaking them clean off....but my ailerons continue to sag down no matter what I try. I guess the aileron issue is inherant...

21C at TRU

I thought that after all the fanfare 21C would be well represented at TRU. All the TRU in my area has is a few 32XW some 32nd tanks and a few 144th planes. I was a little disappointed when they opened and that's all they had, that was a month ago and things haven't changed. As for WM,back to the same...

Easy way to tint platic windshields. Mix about 1/2 tsp Future floor wax with green food coloring. Squeeze a drop of food coloring on a piece of paper dip your brush in it and keep it up untill you got the desired color. Then apply to the inside of the windshild and let it dry. Looks like the real th...
