I suppose I should be more specific. I'ld like to see the new PIV paint. Funny thing they're not on the 21st site!?

21st should do a 7/2. use the same camo scheme as the mobilwagon and I'll buy two. One to keep as is and another to swap gun mounts on the Mobilwagon!!

Awesome Post
JRS Exactly! My Lottery Fantasy about doing a startup and showing these guys how it's done! The Theater model would assuage many grievences. And it would result in more veriety in our selections. Also, we've beaten around this bush some, shouldn't 21st and FOV be looking at varient posibilities when...

Good call, Pz38t stock. No bells whistles etc. KOOOL Idea-I've seen many pictures of Panzers travelling in Russia in summer '41 with these little gas trailers behind them. My vote-PZ38t early Russian campaign with the little gascan wagon! cool.

While you are certainly correct about this, the hard truth is that the sales of allied armor just do not come close to matching that of the German stuff. That cheered me up a little bit. To me, a sherman is a sherman is a sherman..... That's why my local Walmarts have stacks of stugs and Brumbars J...

Why does 21st century make the same planes in 32x, as they do in 1:18? I realize that the new Itallian fighters have never been done in 1:18, but it seems like nearly all of the other 32x aircraft are repeats. I dont know about everyone else, but I already have all the versions of the 1:18 Corsair,...

I saw the Mice and the JS/3s last week. Looked very nice Got me thinking about branching out to 1/72 with all the Dragon stuff. The SHermans are good news. I'm concidering a change in scale for a Sherman collection. The companies doing 1/32 (my prefered scale) don't seem interested in Shermans.

TRU and SS 251/1
Doesnt TRU have a "NO Panzers Here" Policy? Will we be seeing other German stuff there in the future?

The reason the USAAF used exposed polished or bright colors on its aircraft late in the war was because they had Air Supremacy. They wanted thier birds to stand out to provoke attacks hense killing more enemy planes. There was an old joke back then that the German Army started late in the war, "How...

you see, what it is digger, is that the tiny toys these guys play with are so wholey unsatisfying, that they constantly need to be stimulated by something new, new, new, more, more, more, lest they become bored and frustrated and as a result become aware just how small and unsatisfying those things...

My M18 predates 32X? I know it's at least nine years old because I bought it before I moved (also before my daughter was born) so I can pretty deffinately date it older than 5 years. It is 21st century as their logo's molded into the bottom. We do need somebody like Verlinden to supply us with acces...

Re: Sherman trivia...
It WOULD be nice if FoV were to re-tool their M4A3 as the M4A3 76mm Wet Stowage, as the conversion freak could use the current FoV turret to make the late version of M4A3 75mm. Even Dry Storage the FOV appears to be missing a patch. Did the M4a3 only have ywo hull patches? I can't find my Sherman b...

I was dusting some tanks the other night, including the first prebilt model tank I ever bought 10-11 years ago. It's a 21st Century M18. Nice tank no attempt to "improve" the olive drab paint job (hey guys, they're green and we're ok with that!). Anyway... As I was dusting it I noticed something, th...

Hey; what kind of paint sticks well to the soft plastic tracks. I've always had problems with it flaking off. I want to paint some of my plain plastic tracks.

Think about it. Why would anyone want to fly over the ocean in combat conditions in a light grey or off-white aircraft? Your aircraft would stand out like a snowball in a coal bin. Or Britely polished metal like the USAAF did over the Pacific, Europe, Korea, and Vietnam. Dominant airpower can be an...

I'm having trouble accepting some of the premisses here. Repaints drive the companies. I see the economic logic in repaints, and that is obviouosly how FOV does business, but to make that work you have to have people ready to by two or three Tigers. I, for one, can't afford to collect repaints. It's...

Why a JS-2?? It hardly saw any combat whatsoever. Stick with a T-34 I say, hehehehe.... -Ski Almost as little as the King Tiger. Are you thinking JS-3 maybe. JS-2 started in production in April' 44. Although an earlier variant may have been in service before this. And over 3 thousand were built (KT...

How can they know what sells if they make virtually no Soviet Armor. A JS-2 would be awesome! The Soviets made great looking BIG tanks. And when they do a T-34, they do the WRONG ONE! (Give me a T-34/76 model 41). Have you noticed how oversized that T-34/85 turret is on that hull! I hate to admit it...
