For those of you that have never actually been to Monkey Depot the place is a repository for 21st 1/18 and smaller stuff so it's not a suprise that they've got a ton of merchandise to clear out. They do this type of sale every year. Speculate away.

In your opinion would the Banana hobby A-10 be suitable for a beginner..?? No. The plane appears to be a bit underpowered, slightly unstable in yaw and probably has to be flown all the time (can't take your hands of the sticks without changing directions). The biggest killer of R/C planes is gettin...

That's a little harsh don't you think? Considering he has 100% feedback it's probably just a typo just like the 1/8 in the item title.

You're thinking of a Ju-87G.

those HMP 1/18 kits have been around for years. I wouldn't read anything into that. 1/18 model kits would be tres cool as there would be a better chance of seeing more diverse subject matter, me thinks. It's hard to say Aferg. Dragon has been releasing 1/6 model kits for about the last year now and...

I think we'll see one from Admiral but it will be a complete surprise when it hits. Though the faithful here will blame some sort of Chinese conspiracy against toy makers for the delay, 21st probably didn’t even have a full scale prototype when they announced theirs. I’ll expect to see one from 21st...

I believe the only major difference between the B and C models is where they were made.

It was rare but from what I've read even the ground crew wouldn't let anyone else fly it. Stigler brought the plane to the unit straight from the factory. Galland told him that bringing his own 262 was the only stipulation for joining the unit. The reason it doesn't have all of the normal stenciling...

As much as I'd like to, I can't take the credit for painting this bird. I worked with Scott Carter over at http://fadedarmor.com/ to get this done. I simply provided Scott with all of the images of the aircraft and paint data I could find and with a couple of educated guesses this is what he came up...

As Jackson pointed out, this is in fact Franz Stigler's personal mount. While Galland did fly this aircraft on occasion it was only because he was who he was that Stigler allowed it. Also, it is only because Galland was photographed with the aircraft that it has become "his" over the years. Stigler ...

If you look right behind the canopy on the right side you can see where the rear canopy will be on the night fighter version. Looks like they will use the same fuse for both. P-38 Pudgy V On Ebay

Now that I've got California Cutie I decided it was time to part with Pudgy V. It's up on ebay now. I may be listing my Red Devil's F-18 this week as well.
