Sorry, I'd have to disagree on the rangers - no disrespect - I like the rangers alot. Had a few friends in there... However, US figures predominate. British figures especially -WWII - means a whole realm of possibilites. That uniform was used by many nations around the world. It could have been used...

I used to have to monitor list servs & all kinds of similar stuff. My advice was - when feeling heated about something - write it out. Then put it away for 24 hours and reexamine it when your head is a little cooler. Usually, you will realize that your original thoughts require some attention. I hop...

Of course I ordered a zero. I'm glad that they did all the research and have produced something with historical significance. It makes it much more interesting. I like the idea that 21st will produce a different model of zero, as well. On a different note, I think that 21st Century's Spitfire is top...

Mike, Is BBI going to be the first to produce British armour in 1/18 scale? Will you produce figures too? Also, what about a AV8-B Harrier - who wouldn't jump at the chance of getting a jump jet. ( arh arh humour!) Lastly, have you considered producing a track link kit for the Abrams or Sherman that...

I have both Corsairs and because they are both 1/18 scale and are the same plane- they should look the same. But they don't. There is a world of difference between the series 2 - 21 Century Corsair and the latest series by BBI. It's comparing toys to models. Just like the BBI Mustang is far ahead of...

Just got my BBI Corsair, the other day. Except for the landing gear which is could use larger main wheels, support struts, and a better tail hook ( re 21 Century), I think it's a major step up. However the detail around the landing gear is far superior ( none on the 21st version) Detail for the BBI ...

F104 arrived ....Yea!

Got My F104 in the mail yesterday from BadCat (Thanks again!) The box was slightly crushed at one end but arrived in excellent time. Overall it is very good, however the paint job could be better. It seems the paint on the left front air intake is partially rubbed off, somehow. The most serious issu...

Great Job

I really like your subject and excellent customizing work! I also like the Land Rover mod you did. You must be pretty proud to have a scimitar in 1/8 scale- custom built. I wouldn't mind it either! It would be nice to see 21st or BBI make the Scimitar or ChallengerII or the Warrior. I'm curious, wha...

Hi,

The P51 Laura Michelle is still available
and so is the original 1/32 German Halftrack

The Huey is gone.

Pershing vs Panther

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the Pershing was formidable to the Panther and had no trouble dispaching it. There were very few Pershings to actually engage in battle in WWII. The best known story I read about is the classic encounter in the center of Colone, Germany. A Panther - just having destroyed...

Best WWII armour is a bit of a perception issue.

It really depends upon the experts you want to use as a reference. For German armour, probably the best all around tank was the Panther (Panzer V), it had a great high velocity gun, good gun sites, good speed, excellent armour protection and a well sloped glacis plate. Except for the early productio...

CF104 starfighter is coming ...

Wow, I'm impressed. I always thought the starfighter was one of the most elegant looking jets of all time. Looks like 21st has done a great job so far, on it. I hope the landing gear detail is also up to par. Of course, I must have it and will turn it into a CF 104. We used them for a long time in a...

Model filler

You can try humbrol or milliput. They both work well. You can mix it with liquid glue if you require more strength (I do that a lot with the thick 1/18 scale plastic. Straight liquid glue works for small holes although you can experience shrinkage and will need to do it several times. Visit your loc...
