Momaw how did you mod your skystriker to do that? I assume this lets the wings sweep back with the gear down as well, freeing up a LOT of shelf space!! I have the carcass of the black skystriker(night force night boomer), and intend to buy some parts in order to rebuild it. Just for fun, I tried put...

To give an idea of scale..

I stumbled upon these on google images looking for 1/18 BBI stuff.

These are desktop models made in Czech, but they are 1/18!!!!

P-51, please post the pics!! I would love to see 1/18 F-22 and nighthawk!

What liveries were they in? And who had them on display, was it just some airforce enlisted men who scratch built them for fun? Or a new company>?

From what I remember Mike saying, Lockheed actually asked BBI about making 1/18 JSF and F-22. The thing with the F-22, the hardest obstacle and undertaking would be making the internal launch rails and weapons. Either way i would not be surprised if we see one, it is truly awesome and being that BBI...

Mike, Would a 1/18 F-8 Crusader cost more than a Hellcat or zero to develop and produce and tool, yet cost less to develop the 1/18 hornet and falcon? Just wondering, since a 1/18 MIG master would be awesome. And for that matter would costs for a 1/18 F-14 for development, tooling and production be ...

The Hunger for a 1/18 F-14 TOMCAT thread!

Hello everyone! During my years on the net, some, if not most of you have grown to know me as either someone with a passion for macross, or the kid who keeps begging hasbro to find some way to reissue the skystriker, or the kid who begs any company to make a 1/18 F-14 Tomcat. So I guess I have an in...

Hey Curt how about an F-14 man? I loved PTE's F-18, be sure to tell them that! And I love the blackhawk as well! I have been itching for them to make an F-14, so far out of the "joescale" companies, I think their vehicles are the best!

More jets and helicopters is a good thing!

Oh but....but...an F-14 Tomvat in 1/18 scale....now thats a big plane...that could keep the hellcat company!!!!!!!! one of the most important carrier fighters of WWII, ...

Maybe its a placeholder for a REAL A-10 proto to be unveiled at the REAL toyfair....bear in mind this is just pre toyfair boys!! Otherwise, why else would they put it in? I think its either a joke by Mike or a placeholder, other than that why would they waste their time and energy to mount that thin...

This is not totally accurate, but did you guys notice that the black hornet displayed with gear down, has the yellow tips and liveries of VFA-103? This is a NICE touch! IT may not be fully accurate(VFA-103 has the F/A-18F super bug, they never flew the legacy, and plus this is a 1 seater F/A-18C leg...

I'd so love an F-14 and F-15 in here to compliment the F-18s and F-16! Of course, I'd have NO room for them at all at their size... but I'd buy them anyway and figure it out later :-P I hope the price level does go down a little bit... and I'm curious if we'll see these in stores. Thats the spirit!...

Mike

Just recently, many aviation fans from all over the world came to oceana airshow in va beach, to see the FINAL demo of the F-14 Tomcat.

And what better way to celebrate than with a 1/18 toy!

I have been good and Santa ought to know many of us want this.....

So....any hint of an F-14 yet?

Have you guys stoped to think that both companies are watching this thred, and they are both wondering if the other company has "really" started developement on the A-10. Therefore their logical conclusion is to not compete "head to head" (on a first release) with a company that has proven itself w...
