Cool! I just ordered mine 2 minutes ago from Bad Cat. If this thing is a good as it looks in the photos I will be ordering another one for a repaint project! The big question is what scheme will JSI do next so that I don't paint the same one myself! I think it's Black Knights to coincide with Kawai...

On the other hand, they could include the normal load you see on models: 2 Sidewinders, 6 AGM-65 Mavericks, 2 500lb. Bombs, 2 GBU-12s, and 12 Mk82s. so that the collector could arm it like they want. That's the better option considering the flak that BBI got for their minimal armnament on their F/A...

I hope JSI listens to modelers and collectors and doesn't go off in one direction leaving the rest behind. Modern is great but WWII sells. I don't think WWII is going to go anywhere. WWII has always been a great seller. Profits from WWII 1/18 models can be used to r/d new Modern 1/18 stuff and WWII...

Here's an F-4 scheme that will probably be one of the most popular for an Air Force version: It's a must. The Vietnam War didn't field as many aces as previous wars, and their mounts are important. I think Duke Cunningham's Phantom that was used when becoming an ace is a must also, despite the lega...

It's good to hear that you believe JSI knows WE want an A-10 in 1/18 scale. Believe? They've told me numerous times before about it. Shin, Shin, Shin you ought to know by now every time you mention something in 1/18th that is an ac that is not the A-10....it will be hijacked into an A-10 love fest....

JSI A-10 Thread
This thread was made so that the Phantom thread wouldn't be further derailed. So for those of you who want a 1/18 A-10 by JSI, post the paint schemes, variants, et al, that you'd like to see here. Pictures would be great too. I might be in the minority but I like the A-10B. Pretty bad ass variant, s...

All we need is an A-10 with the same detail level as their F-14. What is so special about having all those intricate details on the A-10? No one seems to care about it on the F-14 or that they will be on the F-15 and Su-27. Let's not start dicouraging JSI from making something over details that we ...

JSI F-4 Phantom II Wishlist
The F-4 Phantom II has been in demand for years in 1/18 scale. We've had the carrot dangled in front of us by both 21st Century Toys and Admiral Toys. Now the only company that seems to have a shot at it is JSI. It is also an aircraft that they know fans want. So with that said, which specific F-4 v...

I wish the navy would go back to full color tail art and giant national insignia like in the 70's. Heck I wish all the world's air forces would. Tiny gray scale insignia suck. Low viz be dammed! HELL YEAH! I find it weird too, that the Navy insists on having the tail code letters on the Super Horne...

If JSI were any more like 21c, the S1 F-14 would have been in an Iranian scheme for the first release with all the highly desired shemes slated for later runs. Then, just after releasing the plane, the company would go under, on purpose of course :P That's friggin' hilarious! It is. I have a ...

Which Tomcats Do You Want To See Next From JSI?
Which Tomcats do you want to see next from JSI? As in which squadrons, paint schemes, variants, et al. I hope JSI eventually makes an F-14B and F-14D Super Tomcat. It's within their capability but it won't happen right away. Nonetheless, I think both variants beg to be made, especially considering t...

I picked one up a few months back. It can be used for light play, but don't expect all the parts to stay in one place. The airbrake does not stay in closed position, it's loose. Also the model is slightly fragile, I never got the side fuselage to mount flush and a few pegs snapped off. Also, one of ...

You have to remember that bbi and JSI haven't been established as connected so what is old with bbi can be new to JSI. If JSI didn't see the pilots as important until after they started rolling out their products and getting fan/retailer feedback, they may not have been looking into figure designs ...

After seeing the older 21st Century figure molds that JSI evidently has, they could simply have the figure design that bbi has and are calling it all new....all new to them that would be. From what I've been told, I doubt it. It's an all new design from what they've told me. If it was a reissue of ...

The jolly rogers scheme isn't the be all and end all anyway. Definitely, with the F-14A alone you have the most paint schemes to choose from than any other variant. Though being that their model is a late F-14A, there aren't as many to choose from that would be accurate for it. Black Knights is one...
