Let's them off the hook totally...good thinking guys. Also makes me wonder what other problems this bird might have. I mean if they can't even do a decent weathering job, what else is wrong with it? Wrongly painted ordnance...minor but annoying. Saggy undercarriage maybe? Wings that don't swing wel...

I'm wondering why JSI painted the TCS lens red. The plane doesn't look as spotty as earlier pics but it might be because of the lighting. I'm not sure. perhaps someone who is still getting one (hint me) should take some pics of it in proper lighting, no flash or background reflections of light, and ...

Great price. Hell I thought it was worth every penny when it was $39.95 at Walmart.

It's hard to say whether I like the MIG-15 or F-86 best; to me they were the best planes that 21st Century Toys ever made.

I'm glad the Tomcat will be coming soon. It's almost been a year since we 1st heard about someone even deciding to make one! It will make one hell of a Christmas for us 1/18 fans.

I'll have to admit that I thought the signature was sort of retarded when you first used it several years ago, which is probably why it stuck in my mind. Back then a 1:18 F-14 seemed to be an impossibility and I think most of us were certain something that big never stood a chance of getting made. ...

On a completely unrelated note, Shin, I recall how your signature used to say something like "Come on Hasbro, BBI 21c, PTE, give me an F-14..." Funny how that actually became a reality Hell yeah tman :P , seems like 5 years of wishing for something finally got somewhere hehe. It's a case of good th...

I am still wondering is there a real special edition F-14 jumping out or just a ---- pipe dream there. I had already put my preorder of regular F-14 on MTS and CAT seperately ,I don't remember they had mentioned anything of about the special edition . News of the special edition surfaced last week ...

The sound of the specal edition F-14 reminds me of the New Bright light and sound F-14's that company made for awhile in the 1990's. They were pretty cool, I remember having two of them that I pretty much beat the crap out of through play. They were neat though, the wings worked, it lit up, all the...

Except, of course, people have a right to be concerned when they have invested $230 in "just a toy airplane" that may or may not measure up to previous expectations vis-à-vis the paint master. When a manufacturer decides it's ok to release work-in-progress pictures of their "assembly line" but deci...

I think JSI wants to start communicating with collectors like has never been done before as they get rolling, but I'm afraid this is going to shoot that all to hell. It depends on how the fans handle and present themselves. Any of the boards can be viewed online with relative ease, it's not hard to...

4. In my past dealings with China-based companies (I have no experience directly with JSI, however), I have found that if I came across as demanding, pushy or rude, they simply ignored me. The more aggressive I became, the larger the stone wall I faced. It's very possible that an anxious collector ...

Well, BCA has gotten very little of my $ over the last several years and won't in the future because of Rob's comments here and at their blog. I'd call it a "toy" airplane if I paid less than $20 for it. No need to elaborate on this. That's what I can't understand about Merit and JSI right now. The...

The F14 has a full blown BBI look, coupled with the selection of Merit International as their initial distributor and Koiwi Toys distributors in Japan. It's Kawai Toys. It is very starange as JSI comes to the market BBI fades into the fog. JSI's' new F14 prototype looks to me to be an exact style o...

F-8 Crusader. As much as people(including myself) want a Phantom, the Crusader was the better dogfighting machine and an important Vietnam era jet. It'd be great to see VF-124 F-8's and a VF-124 F-14. Quite fitting actually. For Tornado I'd push for the IDS and ECR variants. ADV looks alright but th...

I have never even seen the SU-27 before at Big Lots, for $20 the price is great. Has anyone else seen it? I've seen the bombed out building, IFV, rocketless rocket helicopter and many of the other vehicles, except for the F/A-18 and SU-27. I hope they hit saturation soon, the jets are great for the ...

Considering that it costs exponentially much more to order it from etailers overseas then YES it's a steal at $20! Not to mention, the current G.I. Joe plane closest in size(movie Night Raven) costs twice as much.

Has it really been sighted for $20?

If 32X Returned, Which Jets Would You Like To See?

If 32X returned under JSI(with retractable landing gear, high detail, increased sturdiness, et al), which jets would you like to see? Here are the jets I'd love to see: F-14A Tomcat VF-1 Wolfpack F-14D Super Tomcat VF-2 Bounty Hunters F-14A Tomcat VX-4 Vandy 1 F-15C Eagle F-15E Strike Eagle F-15DJ H...

Last year when the 1/18 Tomcat was announced, Kawai Toys had a Black Knights CAG version exclusive to them, IIRC limited to 1,000.
