P-51 Killer Ace
Gals and Gents: Hello again from sunny Miami (no offense intended for those of you in the upper latitudes  ) Yesterday I bought my Killer Ace from TRU and let me tell you, It's the most impressive 1:18 model I've ever seen. The detail is just outstanding all around. But anyhow, I realize that m...

A better glue
I accidentally discovered that the pipe cement used for glueing together PVC pipes works much better for our models than Superglue, and for the following reasons: 1- It will not bond skin as rapidly as superglue, should you contact it with your fingers. 2- Once two peaces are in contact, it dries up...

Hello and welcome Sumo. I'm kind of new to this business myself, but I already have 16 airplanes, with two more on the way: The Zero and a SE Corsair. Like everyone else, I've been waitting very patiently for the Avenger and can hardly wait for the Me-110 and the 262. As a side note, I must say that...

P-47 Jabo Question
Hello there gals and guys:
Did the Jabo P-47 razorback really had a red canopy? My friend insists that that wasn't the case, so he painted his green and suggested I do the same.
Could someone please shed some light into this subject. Thank you much and good night.

Propliners and such
Hello Jim: Well, what do you know! I'm currently working in a 144 scale DC-6 propliner from Western Airlines. I picked up that particular one because the beauty of the paint job, not to mention the airplane itself. You know, I also love the propliners of the 'golden age', especially the Super Consta...

Curious
Hello DV, pardon the question, but how come you're selling some of your pieces? By the way, today I bought the 1:32 scale P-47 (Eagleston). What a beauty! Do you have any 1:32s Jim?
Good day to you.

Future Projects
Hello There Guys: First off. Folkwulfe is very correct on the scale approximations, so as you can see, there's no "unmanageable" 10 feet wingspan for the B-17, just a very manageable, totally awsome 5.76 feet. As for the 1:32 scale B-17, I'd buy one regardless, but it would be hard to mix our 18s wi...

Food for thought
Hello Mike: Certainly thankful for the input and inside scoop you've been giving us for the past few days. I also am a diehard fun of BBi and its products and greatly appreciate the F-16 and 18 models. Having said that, I'd like to suggest some form of 'animation' for the airplane products you make....

Medium Bombers
Hey Guys and Gals(??): Yeah, a B-25 or 26 would be very cool, and I'd defenitely buy it. I just want to see a bomber, period, so that we can put toghether some really great dioramas. By the way, can somebody tell me how I can post some of my pictures here? Is it possible or is this still being worke...

B-17 in 1:18 scale
Hello there fellow aviators: I'm glad the survey and the question about a 1:18 scale B-17 prompted such a response. On the other hand, I'm surprised nobody said anything about the electric motors and lights in such a model. I've been experimenting with one particular airplane, in an attempt to add a...

B-17 model in 1:18 scale
I've been hearing a lot of talk from 21C and BBI about box size, display size, price, etc. I have a suggestion to make: How about producing the B-17 in 1:18 scale, in three separate, interlocking sections? The first section could include the nose, crews, bombs. The second, mid-fuselage section, hori...

The Future of 1:18
Ok ladies and gents, just finished reading all of your comments on the future of 1:18, particularly WW-II airplanes. I also feel very strongly about the 1:18, meaning that if and when it goes, so do I. Personally, I can't see myself mixing scales, no way! I display my 15 WW-II models hanging from th...

F-190 questions
Hello Jay: Both of my 190s have the same tail wheel characteristic as yours, so obviously it's a design thing. As for 21C helping you with the step part, I must say that they were very helpful and prompt when helping me raplace the canopy on my F4U Corsair. They even called me personally to verify t...

most wanted aircraft
Hello there gals and guys, I just joined the site and I'am glad there's more 1:18 model airplane crazy people out there! According to my wife, I'm nuts all the way when it comes to my 16 airplane collection, which hopefully will soon get larger. As for the poll, I must say that although I love my F-...
