Thank you
Thank you kevrut, it's a neat idea. One of my drawers is becoming rapidly fillied up with all sorts of parts. I use one of those storage boxes for small hardware stuff, but it never occurred to me to organize my hobby things this way. Thanks again for the excellent suggestion. I'm sure many guys her...

beautiful
Beautiful picture of the green version Ski. Definetely a keeper as far as I'm concerned.
I couldn't help but to notice the aileron counter-weights still in the wrong position. Oh well, time to the get the hair dryer crancked up again!

To have, or not to have!
Although I'd love to have all five of the Flight-19 aircraft, I don't think I have the necessary real estate for such a project. I'll probably end up getting one each, Pacific and Atlantic versions. I'll fly my Pacific along my Zero and Corsairs (currently in my family room) and the other with my Eu...

Try this
Hey Rob, you may want to give 21C a call directly. At one point I needed the canopy to my Kepford Corsair, which I damaged with a blow dryer, and they sold me one and sent it out right away. I was very impressed with their service. Their website is www.21stcenturytoys.com I'm sure you can get their ...

Aha!
Thanks Razor for the great links and pictures. It's true, a 1:18, B-17 would be an awsome thing. I believe it can be built and successfully sold (see my poll thread titled "B-17 model in 1:18 scale" of 9/26/05, if you haven't. I'm currently building a 1:28 Guillow's version of the B-17, which I'm pl...

How about a 1:18 hangar, WWII style, with the lighted windsock on top?
This is a very good thread gentlemen. Keep up with the good work.

An Observation
Wow guys! A great thread to say the least. The F-86 is a beaut and I'm defenitely in line for one or more. After reading some of the comments made about the French Mirage/Kfir deal, I'd like to say that we as Americans tend to be somewhat arrogant when it comes to the world of aviation. Yes, we're a...

Picky, picky, picky.
I'm with you CW4! I don't care what paint scheme they come out with at first. The point is that we can actually get our hands on one at last, feast on its features and dream of the possibilities. Heck guys, we've been waiting for this baby longer than I care to remember.

1:32 Vs. 1:18
I was dissappointed with the overall quality of the Black F-109 and the Me-262, as both seem somewhat toysh. The pilots on all aircraft leave a lot to be desired as well. Having said that, I'm delighted with the quality of the P-47s, FW-190s and P-40, and find very little difference between these an...

Admiring the Hog
I was never particularly impressed with the A-10, partly because it seem somewhat dissproportioned to me. But I did have a chance to see a few of them flying in tandem and at low altitude, somewhere near Tucson. After that experience, I changed my outlook and began to admire the aircraft for what it...

Mistery Airplane(s)
Digger, I remebered reading a previous interview with Mike (From 21C, or BBi, I'm not sure), where he states something about two surprise aircraft being announced before the end of the year.

exactly my thought
Absolutely agree with all of you gentlemen; it's a must have! One of my favorite features is the pilot himself. I remember reading somehere on the forum that BBi is unbeatable when it comes to its pilots, and I totally agree with that impression. As for my favorite feature of them all: The gorgeous ...

Mc-202
Assuming that if 1:32 sells well, then 1:18 will also sell well is foulty reasoning. For a variety of reasons, ranging from the practical to the purely subjective, many 1:18 collectors do not collect 1:32 and viceversa. Having said that, it's possible that the "surprise" aircraft will be issued in b...

Looking Good
Great job on the counterweights Ski. Can you tell me how did you make them as stiff as they appear in your pictures? Mine are very flimsy and because of the way the wings were packaged, they were actually squashed and bent.
Talk to you sometime.

My Zero and Wilma
Hello there guys! Hurricane Wilma finally brought my Zero home, and what a sweet airplane it is. I love the canopy, the wheathering and paint job, and feel that it's a much better looking airplane than what appears on the website pictures. As for the cockpit, it's a very nicely detail peace, but I f...

F-104 Question.
So does anyone know what's the deal with the soft pitot tube that comes with the F-104? I put the hard, straight one on my airplane. I've never seen a soft pitot before! Did anyone have trouble installing the horizontal stabilizer? It was hard for me but what I did was file away at both sides of the...
