Re: Back in the Good Ol Day's
Those are some nice Planes, I was only able to get one 21at Spitfire. I especially like the Spit after seeing one at an airshow close up
and then seeing it in flight!

Re: Normandy Customs
No, I haven't seen any others. It would be nice to see what other paint schemes others chose. I still have the TA 183 Huckebein with full cockpit and landing gear to build. I haven't taken on any large projects since January, I had to have hand surgery due to nerve damage. Its much better so for now...

Re: Normandy Customs
Thank you Pickel and YT!! YT the V-2 is 1:16 from IMEX, its an old Vac-U-Form kit and is a "Cut-Away". Your able to see the internal parts, I chose to paint the entire model so painted over the clear side. The TA 183 Huckebein is the kit from Pazzaguy, Nathan Hortchem. The one you built and painted ...

Re: My RAAF Association Display
Very impressive display Studly!!
I've always liked the way scale models look with the actual historical 1:1 items and 1:18 scale really complements the display.

Nice work Pickel, it seems to be correct. I like the overall look of your Sturmtiger and I could
see it with Grunts Tiger I snap together tracks. That would look cool!
Might need a couple of sets...

The model is styrene sheet, 21st Panther drive sprockets and road wheels plus the commanders hatch and one hatch from a 21st Tiger I. The Tracks are from Grunt 1"s / Battleground models, excellent 1:18th scale snap together PantherTrack Set. The addition of these tracks to any 21st Panther changes t...

E 79 This is a "What If" or "Paper Panzer" I started in summer '21. It is loosely based on the E-10 and my interpretation of a cross between the Panther and T-34 running gear setup. https://hosting.photobucket.com/images/a551/Normandy02/IMG_3971.jpeg https://hosting.photobucket.com/images/a551/Norma...

Re: Are Mods The Thing of the Past ?
I think the issue is not as many collectors as in the past and the availability of 1:18. As you said the price has increased but I still cut up 21st to make customs/Mods. I think they're a great base to start from and could always use more detail. I was never into RC tanks so I didn't go the 1:16 rc...

Re: Boxed 1:18
All I see on ebay is the raido controled Panzer IV for $200, Euro Panzer my be more but mine is not for sale. I don't think I've ever sold any 1:18. I picked up 4 Euro Panzer IV's at different times, some were from folks were getting out of the scale and others were at model shows. I have and still ...
