Hey Mike, great to have you back. Can you give us the status of the 1/6 line for the rest of the year, particular the Perfect Bodies and Cy Girls?

Mike, It's been a while since I posted but I want to thank you and BBi for getting back into the 1:6 scale with your military and goth figures, and the release of more perfect body female figs. Everything you've said has come to pass, and I can't say how much that means to me and other collectors of...

Well bad news guys, Palisades has gone out of business. Another company has bought some of their licenses and may continue with them so there's still a chance... not holding my breath though.

1:18 Pirates of the Caribbean 2 mass market line pics

http://www.figures.com/databases/action ... _article=1

They call it 3" in the article but in past reports the line was said to be 3.75". Looks good imo, stylized but not too much, good articulation and *tons* of detail.

I don't mind what kind of biplane I get to attack my Kong.

In the original movie they claimed King Kong was 50 feet but in proportion to the actors he ranged from 19 to 25 feet. Denham was engaging in hyperbole.

Any chance BBi will make some 1:18 biplanes to cash in on the King Kong craze? MezCo toys just announced an 18" King Kong figure which would put it in 1:18 scale so I think the iron is quite hot and needs striking.

almost 1:18 King Kong being made by MezCo

MezCo toys announced the other day they've gotten the license to do an 18" King Kong figure. Playmates has the mass market King Kong license and has done a pretty shoddy job of it, imo, so this is terrific news. MezCo is one of the best specialty toy makers around imo, their quality is top notch and...

Another fix for loose joints: put a drop of superglue in the joint and keep working it around till it dries. If you keep moving the joint it prevents it from getting stuck, and the glue fills in the gaps causing the looseness. If the loose joint is one of the ball and socket joints, put a drop on th...

Don't know if this is appropriate, but Mike, do you have any authority to speak of 1/6 stuff? I've been thinking of beginning to collect that scale and I've been looking at BBi's Cy Girl line, and heard that you guys have a new 1/12 line coming out called Gothic. Any idea on when these will come out...

Upcoming 1:18 Marvel Superhero Showdown list

I know I'm not the only one who likes these here, thought it was worth posting for some of you. It came from a list of 2006 Toybiz product given to retailers after fal Toy Fair. Oroku Saki from TNI posted the list I'm quoting, so credit to him. No word on release dates yet: Marvel Legends Showdown S...

What kind of stores were you checking? I saw one of the 1/32 playsets and a bunch of other stuff from that line at Suncoast. They eventually clearanced it and it sold I guess(or they stuck it under something else). Palisades has very good distribution in the specialty market but they don't get into ...
