the KB prices I saw for the 1/32 items were $2.00 more than Bad Cat. The 1/18 items can be found at a number of sites for less. The occasional KB free shipping specials are the only thing that would make it a better deal. If your are looking for pricing at other sites, I recommend going to 21st Cent...

Actually it depends what they are replicating. If it's a narrow gauge loco it's generally 1/20th to 1/24th, depending on the manufacture. If it's a regular gauge loco (which the North America and Europe are close but not exactly the same), G scale is generally 1/29 to 1/32. By the way, in case no on...

I have every plane except the British and the Korean war Corsair. I don't really like the way the wings fold (Kepford is need of repair). Drives my wife crazy having boxes and planes in every corner of every possible storage space. I also compiled a list of the order and release dates of every versi...

P-38 Pudgy - Primarily the impressive size and the this repaint move it to the top of the list. 21st 109 G and BBI P-51 (tie) (no particular version) - Detail on both is stunning. Also look very good chasing each other around. BBI Zero, BBI Corsair, 21st 190, 21st 109E, 21st spitfire and the rest la...

A B-17 would be incredible. My favorite aircraft. Even a static diplay of a fuselage with removable panels. I will not hold my breath, though. Now, if someone did one in 1/32..... I would probably have to change message boards! The Catalina was used extensively as a bomber during the Aleutian Campai...

The Dragon Kublwagen is great. There have been at least five versions, the last three with desert tan. The Zundapp was re-released through the Dragon online retailer as an exclusive in grey and sold out (preorder) in about a day. It has yet to be delivered. The flak gun is still available on line bu...

I don't think there is an easy way. I have had the opportunity to assemble and disassemble three stukas and every time I felt like the wings were going to break off. What I found works is a flat head screw driver and very carefully inserting the head between the wing and the fuselage and carefully t...

Actually, unless the item is small (which virtually none of the 1/18th scale is), stopping at TRU or anywhere during my travels is not an option. Even though I have done it in the past, the hassle of finding a post office or checking the item in an oversized suitcase and risking demolition by a airl...

The 1/6 scale has a cockpit model (I believe BBI F-16), why can't 1/18th have a forward fuselage on a display stand with removable panels? Better yet, two or three display stands for the fuselage sections and the option of attaching the wings as a static or hanging display? In addition to the flight...

Is there anyone out there who could talk to 21st Cemtury and get them to sell the "Black 14" directly to Area 21 Members? I would hate to have to pay the shipping from Europe and they would sell more 190's to US collectors. It seems like a reasonable request since they have asked Area 21 members to ...
