awesome guys thank you 8) this was when I only had german para figs and a somewhat empty diorama. Now I have more...marines and japanese...101st PIR and BOB...halftracks both us and german...a repainted normandy sherman...a repainted usmc sherman. can't wait to get some more pics to show you guys

How about some advice from "the master" on customizing, repaints, weatherizing...I've noticed that 21st century tanks and vehicles come like new with no combat damage or weatherizing...compared to smaller scale FOV, etc...

:D similar findings in my AO, 2 coed shermans, 2 us halftracks, 1 hanomag (that I had to get), 2 M41 walker bulldogs, 1 P40 warhawk in 1/32( that I also got) some 1/32 platsets and armor, but no 1:18 figures

I have used styrofoam on a diorama I had recently had to take down ( moving) a freind of mine took pics of it - if he emails them to me I will try to post them here- I cut out some door ways and made a 2 story blown out building and spray painted it, the spray paint I used acually melted the styrofo...

what I did with my jump ready fallshirjaeger was cut off all straps and harness molded on and re painted splinter camo to match my other combat ready troops, had an idea to just use a dragon fabric poncho but that didn't seem like it would look as good.

wow! awsome figures with mortars and heavy machine gun! its just what i always wanted :D i agree with 75th ranger too, a british sherman firefly would be cool. we would all be happy with any new armor.

there are some great photos of some "custom" stuff; marines w/ repaints (camo scheme looks awfull) and they have a pic of a panzer w/ zimeritt looking armor, among other things.
