They said if they did the Flanker that it would be about the same timetable as the F-14, Q3-Q4 of 2010.

The thing is most 1:18 diecast manufacturers don't scale for figures, but for accuracy.

Seeing as plastic doesn't give like skin, fabric and springs, you're probably better off going with the version at least somewhat designed for figures, 21st's.

Other than the barrel of an MG 42/MG 3 nothing there strikes me as real-life inspired.

It's like they threw a fork lift cage on top of some 6-wheeled ATV.

You might be able to use the Huey rotors, tail boom and exhaust nozzle, but there's gonna be alot of work elsewhere.

Wish you luck on it.

The AH-1G and the AH-1W are worlds apart. I don't think you can retro fit a 21st W into a G. There's more work involved than turning a Charlie Huey onto a Delta.

That said, i'd much rather seen an H-13.

I'm gonna be different and nominate Bbi's dedicated pilot figures. I won't dispute the quality of the Chopper Harris figure or the accuracy of it's depiction of a pilot, but the old Bbi pilot figure looks like every U.S. Army helo pilot i've ever seen. Remove Harris' flight helmet and he he doesn't ...

Sturmrtiger, Elefant/Ferdinand, Bergepanzer Tiger(P) {Recovery vehicle, not likely to get a lot of interest, i imagine} and the Rammtiger.

WWII: Do 335 and the Fa 223. Cold War: OV-1 Mohawk, OV-10 Bronco and a m-fin' H-13 ( a certain board member should knock off this armor stuff and get on a 13 project (;)) Modern: Most of the variants of the Flanker family would be acceptable to release for me. And do i really need to mention the Hind?
