I don't think I've ever seen a picture of the Zero pilot on this forum. Does anyone have one to post?

Nathanita, I have a few of those. I'll bring one up to Fort Worth in November. Mark That would be great. I would offer to pick up a Hellcat for you, however, I'm sure you already had five before I even pulled into the TRU parking lot. LOL. As the skies (ceiling) over Flower Mound are getting a litt...

1:18 caps

One thing that neither 21st or BBI has done has done well is provide a decent 50 mission crusher hat in 1:18. BBI has made an attempt with their P-51, however, it seems to be too small. The closest I can find are repainted German Officer caps, however, they are somewhat small hard to come by. OD or ...

Hellcat vs Corsair

I keep hoping to run across a three color scheme BBI corsair (Marine Dream), however, all I can find are the dark blue ones, which don't appear to have any weathering. The Hellcat is absolutely beautiful with crisp paint lines and markings. I just wish I could find a corsair to match.

Any ideas?

Hey Nathanita, Haven't seen you on the board in a while. Mark Hello! It's good to be back. Unfortuantely I've been having to actually work at my job and haven't been able to check in. Went to Toys R Us to replace my Corsair and found several boxes of Hellcats. Rang up at 44.99, however, Corsairs were all marked 39.99, so I got it for the lower price. Nice bird.

The newer box that contains the Avenger is large enough to fit other oversized birds. The price point is enough to perhaps look at other subjetcs. If the sales at the stores hold true and 21st & WM can see that there is support from fans at a 69.00 price point I think we will see more things that w...

As for the above post regarding the hanging of the Avenger, it doesn't seem to weigh any more than the BBI F-18 or F-16, so a sturdy hook and fishing line should be more than sufficient! As a precaution, I positioned it below a metal air vent and secured the screws with washers: http://i96.photobuc...
