Hi all!
Does anybody know where I can get a JSI F14 stand for flight mode? If they still make them?
Thanks!

F14 Stand Pizzaguy
Hey all. Been forever since I posted. I'm looking for the stands for the JSI F14. Does pizzaguy still do them? Is anyone still making replacement landing gear for them? I still have my metal struts from ages ago for the main gear. Is anyone doing anything for the front? Thanks!

Not only that, BUT since the economic downturn, companies have introduced new business models. Profits are up for a staggering amount of companies...not becuase of the US (we actually suck compared to the rest of the world at this time in regards to spending) becuase they have figured out where they...

If people want to rant, let them rant. I personally, am not going to forgive and forget and bend over and kiss Jim's a$% just because people think its "old". It amazes me how many people are willing to do just that. Rather disgusting if you ask me, considering how JSI (namely Jim at this point) refu...

Windvane/Yaw Indicator: The windvane is a simple thread attached to a small circular panel on top of the F-14s nose. This windvane is used during take-off or landing approach to optically show the pilot the presence of cross-winds which might disturb smooth flight and demand quick reaction. Note th...

That's the same paint scheme I'm converting my F-14 to. I'm guessing your painter just masked the OEM markings and painted over them. This technique works well with the exception of one thing: the ejection seat warnings. On Tomcats of this era, there were two warning decals on either side of the co...

Two questions: 1. Since the new F-14 has a FLIR pod, are smart bombs also included? 2. Why doesn't JSI include pilots? 1. Hmmmm! 2. No idea, I wish they did. No plans for pilots this year though. Keep the torch burning though! And everyone else.. wow SO much complaining! Sheesh. There are literally...

Nice...they include sturdier landing gear and leave everyone else who bought into their first POS holding the bag! Hey JSI/Merit, or whoever the "F" else, why don't you make good on your first planes...you know...the people who didn't leave YOU holding the bag...with replacement landing gear instead...

HI! Actually, the placement of "AJ" is correct on the livery up to the Gulf War that JSI issued (see http://www.anft.net/f-14/f14-squadron-vf084.htm). The one I believe you are referring to, is the livery from the '77-'78 Med cruise. In fact, I just had mine repainted in this very scheme that you ar...

which leads me to my next question where are they getting there marketing info from? i don't remember seeing any threads of them asking us what we want? And I doubt they can afford a marketing firm to find out since there is all of this talk of money problems. I mean how do they know what is going ...

I would like to know from you guys who have the cat in hand, Can the cat be disassembled easily and re-packed in the excellent packaging box? Yes, it can, but not very easily. The nose section especially is tough to remove and may give you the feeling of "it will break any minute if I keep doing th...

Hi all! I got my SE version of the tomcat today. I have to say, the model "looks" very nice regarding sight lines...but that is where it ends. This bird is one of the most fragile things I have ever laid my hands on. First off, my lights didn't work, and I found that the battery compartment had two ...

I am new here regarding posting, but I have been a lurker for years so HELLO everyone! :D Saying that, I don't want to convey that I am being a jerk regarding this plane to the etailers, but ya know, I am really getting tired of the etailers making excuses for JSI or any other company. Flying Mule's...

Just noticed this post fm BadCat's website "talesofthecat.com" : Merit, our distributor for the 1:18 F-14, told us container #4 of the Tomcats is leaving LA on Mon, bound for our warehouse in N. Calif. In all, there were 4 containers brought in from China and the last one, is BCAT's... Is it me or ...
