I usually pick up pieces if it is something that I like and if the price is right, regardless of scale.

That is the same sheet as sold by Badcat, for most 1/32 21st Century planes Me 109s, Me 262s etc. It also has a set of AVG Flying Tigers Chinese insignia and U.S. kill markings/flags (Japanese and German) Good sheet and well worth the price.

Fist of all, I'm sorry for your loss. As for the TT 21st Century plane I doubt you will find one for sale. So why don't you consider making one? or have someone do a custom build/paint for you?

Yep, I got some really great deals and missed out on other ones. Now if the prices for these items goes up some more in the future, then my kids will have some good pocket change when I kick the bucket. I have 4 girls that aren't interested in any of my collections, so I will probably have to tell t...

I collect 1/18 and 1/32 scale planes. I can't afford to buy the more expensive die-cast planes that run in the triple digits or some models that aren't made, so what I started doing is use plans from balsa kits of models that I don't have in 1/18 and 1/32 scale and build them. I'm working on a B 25 ...

Yep, I got most of my 21st Century 1/18 planes on clearance at WM, I believe the cheapest one was $5 (Old Crow) and the most expensive ones were $15 (Winter Stuka + CIA Huey) the 190s, Tiger tank, P 47, and Chinese Mig were all $10 each. And the other 1/18 21st stuff I got from Monkey Depot, when th...

My collection

Okay I'm sorry I don't have them set up, so there aren't any pictures. At one time when I started collecting 1/18 stuff, I did have about 8-10 planes hanging and a few 1/32 items in the bedroom, but my wife put her foot down and wanted to reclaim the room. So for now, all of my collection is in a st...

I don't think it's fair, what if us "rookies" wanted to get in on this lotto? I haven't been here anywhere near 6 months, so that means we can't participate. I have seen very great deals here, but I can't B/S/T for the 6 months probation period. I think I, like everyone has to go by the rules set by...

They were never used in dog fights that I know of, mostly used as recon, infiltration, or mock dog fights to train pilots. They were also studied by each side. The only known confirmed kill was by a P 38G Lightning flown by Col. Angelo Tondi (Italy) he shot down a B 17, the P38G he used landed by mi...

I also bought all 4 but didn't remove them from the box. I just stored them with the rest of my stuff. If I do take them out of package I will try and post pics. I do like them but I'm not an expert, so I can't really say what is right or wrong about them.
