I envy you Jason. That incredible piece of work should be hanging up in my room too. lol

Now, if I'm not mistaken weren't the landing gears fixed in either the up or down position on the F-4 prototype? Personally, I would like to see them retract but I guess beggars can't be choosers.

Re: Where is the 1/18 A-1 Skyraider, F-4 Phantom and F-15 Ea

Well they did say if the Harrier & FW190 were to sell out fast then the chance for more to come would be likely. However, it seems to me 1/6 is dominating the market right now. All I see is one action figure after another especially on movie themes like Batman & Iron Man. I've actually been buying i...

I wonder if this is the final paint scheme they are going with for the AV-8B.

Hope to see them both painted up for display come February 16-19 at New York's annual Toy Fair. If you have anything new to share with us Jim we are all ears. : )

Re: Merit FW-190A news/updates?

Something tells me we won't be hearing anything new on either FW-190A nor the AV-8B until early next year. There is an International Toy Fair scheduled in New York city on February 16-19. Merit will be there at booth #5455. I expect that's probably when we'll hear more news from them on the progress...

To me 1/6 is that next giant leap up from 1:18. Pretty much the closest purchase you can make to almost obtaining the real thing without having very deep pockets to afford it. :D

If your a big movie buff like me "Hot Toys" is producing a lot of neat products in 1:6. Take for instance the 1989 Batmobile side by side with JSI's F-14.

Looks to me like the Starship Enterprise. That would be neat in 1/18, but I didn't even know someone is making it........ anyway, the pic is the proof.. Can't wait? Is Wallyworld gonna sell it? TTT A couple of years back I remember hearing in the news about some developer wanting to build a full sc...

Must have been taken with a camera phone. Anyhow, Merit plans to show if off once more at the iHobby expo next week. Those who are fortunate enough to attend will have the chance to see it up close in person. Something a photo could never duplicate no matter the resolution.

Re: posted some cool pictures from an aircraft junkyard

Fantasy of Flight has been around for quite a while now. Not really sure on the years. The diner is the first thing you see as you walk in. Certainly takes you back in time. Its like a little Disney World on flight. Pictures alone cannot justify the experience in my honest opinion. http://farm8.stat...

Re: posted some cool pictures from an aircraft junkyard

Speaking of Museums and B-17s if you ever make it to Polk City, Florida you should definitely check out Fantasy of Flight. They have a B-17 inside all rigged out like a movie set. Once you enter through the tail section your blasted with air and sound effects as if your airborne. The sounds of gun f...
