Sorry for the double post, I went to an airshow about 2 months ago. They had an A-10 demonstration with the pilot performing defensive maneuvers, strafing runs, arial maneuvers, and a heritage flight with a p-51 flying on his wingtip. It was probabaly the coolest thing I saw. It just made me want an...

The avenger has a crew of three. Is it possible for a third man to slide in in the compartment in front of the tail wheel(below the turret)?

Negative. Maybe if you get a gumby figure, it might work. Seriously, though, it's too tight.....

I saw a 1/6 stoner machine gun from a Dragon figure (Terry, Navy seal gunner) go for $31.50. The seller claimed it was rare. I did a serch on a google after seeing this and found out Toysnswords still has the figure for $35. The bidder should of looked around.

I voted yes. One of the main reasons was because I do not like the shirt skirts below the belt. It cuts back on the poseability because you can't sit them down all the way like series 1 figures can. 75th Ranger made a very good point about the neck articulation. I have always hated that they stare a...

Wingspan isn't much of problem. As for the fuselage, 21st did a pretty good job breaking the f-104 down from the in box pics i've seen. Im sure the A-10 would probably be able to fit into the F-18 box. It would fit in easily if the rear section (behind the engines) were removed, and the engines remo...

The prototype looks perfect. You can easily get 2 or 3 paint schemes out of it, and the roll your own as others have mentioned. :D :D :D I don't really want the zero, but it came when everyone was wanting it. Hopefully the A-10 will come. Who ever makes it, it will be awesome and the best aircraft e...

Re: is it worth the money

Black_Dragon_One wrote:is the pershing worth the money
I was wandering the same thing, shipping included. They all seem to be around an $80 total. Would it be worth getting to use as a static model, and is it anywhere near the detail of a Tamiya tank?

Also, thank you for your reply and the review.

It would look pretty nice as a static model with marines by it and Tamiya decals. The barrel looks a little short. I would probably mess up a $400-$500 Tamiya tank and there to expensive for me anyway.

If you look at the dimensions, it looks like it could be 1:18.

Thanks for posting the link red69charger. I have'nt seen these before. They look very nice, and would look a lot better with some weathering. Too bad shipping costs more than the tank itself.

Found this A-10 on e-bay. Its not to scale but they claim its 1:18. Look how they have an engine mounted on each wing and one on the tail. Very strange. http://cgi.ebay.com/GI-Joe-Ultimate-Soldier-3-75-1-18-xd-A-10-Thunderbolt_W0QQitemZ5992988140QQcategoryZ2468QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem#ebayphotohosting ...
